Hi guys!

I've seen a lot of couples and I notice that some have lots of differences while some have just few. I would have loved to believe that when a couple have a lot of things in common they're better off, but I began to think when they have so much similarities life would seem a little boring.


What's your take guys? is it more fun to live with someone who has so much difference from you, giving you the opportunity to keep exploring more ideas and more perspectives? or it's better to just stay with someone who you would find quite familiar or many grounds.

Some level of both is important IMO.

Yea too much of anything is bad, but may I know to what degree is your opinion inclined to either side?

My biase would be for someone who complement's me. That would mean someone who has those traits I may be deficient in.

we are talking about couples here ain't we? you know what they say that opposite attract. but from the social psychology's point of view, similarity is better as regards marriage. because of compact. you can also use other examples to further explore this questn. would you like having someone who Share different opinion from yours, likes what you hate, hate what you like as a friend? when couples are too distinct, the potentiality that their relationship would up end up in divorce is high......MARRY YOUR FRIEND.

If I may say, you may hate a thing because you don't really know it.
For example, I was dating a girl about last year, she hates poetry and I'm a poet, on the other hand she loves gist, small talks and all but I'm the cerebral type. We dated for a year or so, and I learnt to gist as well

would be cool, but doesn't always work out fine, especially for the impatient

Well, it doesn't always apply. you embraced change.....some persons resist it.
