Pls fellow Nairalanders i need your help, i will defend my project this coming saturday 22nd of Nov. but up till now my code does not run properly as expected, please help me out
The application was built to track incoming ip address, compare them with already known ip intruders addresses stored in database, if match or resemble any of the known intruders the application give error message such as " intruder detected" and disconnect the connection.

My problem: the application monitor the traffic as expected but refuse to give error message. the code was written in VB 6.0

Make una help ds man nah. @op, I feel ur pain bt I dnt know anytn abt computer. Maybe, u shud mail the mods so that they will move it to FP

Post ur attempts with detailed explanations . And highlight the section of code that is not workg for u- then perchance a vb coder may volunteer help.
I aint into vb so i can't help . Must u use vb and vb6 for tht matter?

no i can use any programming language . but due to time frame, i think correction
will be more simple and realistic than starting from scracth with another language.
i need this between now and tomorrow
