Am sure you ain't learned @all! Lest you forget am from the SW so don't think am from the SS or SE. It's Egoats like you that caused problem and tribal war whereas you lack the common strength should the war start! This is not the situation to seek for division but rather look for way forward and ask God to take control. Boy, don't quote me again cos I can see you lack the wisdom required and you are tribalistic in nature and am sure it's due to your level of exposure. Am ready for you huh!

go and read what the constitution says about legislative defection. stop being sentimental. Tambulwa planned for this. that was why he didn't enforce the law on others who defected earlier.
Then the courts will say so if you are correct. You think it is the army or police that will determine the law? In that case, I laugh at you.

You don't need enemies when you have the kind of friends that President Jonathan has. If you are a parent, I implore you in the name of God not to subvert due process for your children to advance especially educationally so that when they rise to positions of authority, they will have the wherewithal to perform in such places and not bring disgrace to themselves and you.

The law has never been interpreted before. The case is in court, so why would anybody not be willing to wait for the law to take its course? You cannot determine what they law is by force.
With all due respect sir our constitution is written in English and if Tambuwal wanted to do the right thing he will.

The law is clear! It's does not need to be interpreted to take effect. It is only requiring interpretation because Tambuwal and APC are simply being dubious and trying to circumvent the law!

The atmosphere will naturally be tensed so adequate security measure is necessary. The recent APC staged protest is not unconnected with today's sitting. I believe the IG of police or DG of SSS will not plunge the nation into unnecessary crisis by preventing the substantive Speaker (Tambuwal) from sitting. I want to believe additional security men are there to forestall violence. Fingers crossed.
APC staged? Whats your proof? Is this also like you all claimed that no girls were kidnapped and then jubiliate when the fraud of a shoeless president we have claimed they have reached a cease fire agreement?

That local Sokoto mallam should be arrested and tried, he's an intruder. He ceases to be a member of the HoR the day he decamped as upheld in our constitution, and the court has approved it by asking that it remained that way.
Any member that tries anything funny close to the premise should be severely dealt with.
Enough of all the rubbish from these terrorists in apc. Their lawlessness and violence must end today, NONSENSE!!
They are so evil and deserve whatever they get today.
Tambuwal is now an ordinary mallam and must not be allowed into the House PERIOD!
To those calling for riots, know that BIGGER counter-riots await you.
BRING IT ON
It's still GEJ till 2019 - else Crude Oil and Gas production will end in Nigeria

You're quoting me out of context. APC members are Nigerians with every rights including right to protest. I was trying to point out that they saw today's crisis coming and that protest was meant to dissuade PDP from fomenting trouble at the assembly complex today.

PS: News just filtering in has it that 7 Ekiti PDP lawbreakers [lawmakers] just 'impeached' the Speaker.

you are being too prejudiced.

today you call the courts. when its FFK case you say the president is manipulating the court to free him. now you still want him to go to court to interpret what is constitutionally obvious.

Look any one who goes against the constitution in the house. be it APGA defection, it is the responsibility of Tambuwal to enforce it.

He didn't because he had this plan. going to court for an obvious case is mockery of judicial process.

A MAN BATTERED ANOTHER.

IT IS AN OBVIOUS CASE OF BATTERY/ASSAULT.

SHOULD THE BATTARED MAN KILL THE ACCUSED BY HIMSELF INSTEAD OF LEGALLY ASKING FOR HIS INFRINGED RIGHT AS PROTECTED BY LAW?

I THINK UZOMA OKERE SHOULD HAVE KILLED ONE OF THE NAVAL OFFICERS THAT ASSAULTED HER INSTEAD OF TAKING NAVY TO COURT.

IT IS BETTER WE THINK BEFORE ALL THIS PUBLIC DISPLAY OF FOOLISHNESS.

Hypocrisy personified!!

When a house member goes against the house rules or even the constitution what should the speaker do.

Is he not expected to uphold the law/rules? or discipline the erring member?

When he doesn't simply because he want to go against the law or constitution this is what you see.

if in his position he doesn't believe in the law governing his institution and he can't amend it, then he is not fit to be there.

As at Today going by the construction Tambulwa should not be in the house. I'm not a lawyer but I know the law.

A law says don't cheat in the exam if you cheat get out of hall. class captain who is ment to enforce the rule looks the other way simply because he wants to cheat.
he is caught and asked to stop writing or leave which is the rule, he decides to protest with his fellow cheats.

If you go with the rule he should be out of the hall, if you want to respect him he should stop writing.

we know the truth.

This is a right move.

Is he still the speaker of the House? NO

He got Speaker's post because PDP was and is still the majority in the House. Now that he has pitched his tent with APC which has minority in the House, the right thing to do is to relinquish his position immediately he decamped.

I don't know why some people want to create unnecessary attention.

The reason you need the courts or lawyers or soldiers and wars is purely down to the failure of politics and weakness of men!

If Tambuwal was a European or American, he would resign and we will not be in this madness.

That we have the courts is not licence for statesmen to act like kids nor is it the reason for custodians of the law to break it or try to circumvent it!
