I will provide historical evidences of The ownership of warri by itshekris. I will also provide legal documents certifying that your brothers are tenants in Warri when i am on pc. Right now am on mobile and cant really do much. Night will soon fall. They will never negotiate on the terms of ijaws. A court of law admitted a document and you said it was rejected. I can assure you Itshekri will not take your pleading after the dissolution of Nigeria because you will never defeat them legally and since international order places emphasis on legality ijaws will have to plead. Remember there will be no veto among the security council on your behalf when the sanctions keep pouring in. Ijaws are known land grabbers. barcanista: |

seanet02:Bros you don't threaten the Ijaws. Anyway, we will be glad to see to the end of this. I plead for dialogue not because we are weak but because I don't want bloodshed. It will pain me to see this lead to unnecessary killing. I rest my case. |

barcanista:Was busy, was waiting for him to bring up that Iwerre before I would bring Wari as my defence. The issue here is the Ijaws are not interested in going to any Itsekiri speaking town to claim ownership. We just want to be on our own in our ancestral home. The Itsekiri's are claiming Gbaramatu Kingdom. Is Gbaramatu an Itsekiri word? Do they speak Itsekiri in Gbaramatu Kingdom? Why won't these guys just remain where they are and let us live in peace? The wounds of the last Warri crisis are still fresh, some towns are still desolate. The issue has been settled. The areas where divided into three, Urhobo took one side, Ijaw took one side and Itsekiri took another side. Some trouble makers are repeating the same mistake, scheming to take over some parts of Ijaw land. |

barcanista:I am shocked that an educated person is talking like this in the 21st century. If the Ijaws (leave out the urhobos, because the urhobos do not reason like this) will never accept a valid court judgement, based on evidence admitted by the court, then on what basis can there be dialogue? you are invariably saying that the only solution acceptable to Ijaws is war. Nigeria and Cameroon went to court over bakassi and Nigeria lost. Nigeria thereby handed Bakassi over to Cameroon in respect of the court judgement. The alternative would have been an expensive war. Itsekiris and Urhobos went to court over Sapele and the Itsekiris lost and the Itsekiris now accept sapele as an Urhobo town. But the Ijaws tell us they would never respect any court judgement that does not favour them. War and crisis do not profit anybody. Both sides lost a great deal during the last crisis and would lose more if a new crisis comes up. Ijaws can go back and challenge the court judgement if they have new evidence to claim land ownership, but to resort to threats is unacceptable. To claim land ownership you have to have some kind of evidence to back your claims, you do not threaten and hope to cower people to give you land. |

wirinet: barcanista:that court judgement that was delivered based on that document can't and won't be implemented. Not even the Military Government nor the Brits could implement it. It shows that the Ijaws are resolute. We are not Cameroon nor bakassi, that isn't our business whether Nigeria cede Bakassi to Cameroon or Uyo to Ghana. Bros, I hate war but that judgement is unacceptable |

I am still waiting for people to explain what boats filled with journalist were doing on the high sea on Sunday. The guns found on their boats were handed over to the navy and the so called journalist detailed for statements.. I hope people don't start fires they cannot handle. The EPZ cuts across Gbaramatu kingdom communities of Oporoza, Okpele-am/Tebujor, Opuedebubor, Atanbaghene, Okerenkokogbene, Opuede, Jouala, Opuede-Zion, New Jerusalem Zion, Azama, Ghan-ama Zion, Mekama and Ikpokpo. Don't make silly comments unless you know what you are talking about. The days of injustice and thievery are over. |

atlwireles:This is the first time in almost a year that both of us will be in agreement(I guess you are Urhobo). The Ijaws have a legitimate cause, though Tompolo need to calm down in taking laws in2 his hands |

The truth is that Ijaws will be evacuated from all three warri local government when Nigeria finally divide. We OPC members in Warri will not allow an inch of our land to be outside Oduduwa Republic. We will soon commence the erection of Odua Republic flags in Gbaramatu Kingdom. An artificial kingdom created less than ten years ago in Itsekiri land. Okuringhigho was changed by Ijaws to Okerenkoko. Kurutie is an Itsekiri name. |

asamaigho:warri is a corruption from an explorers name "Awiero" which was named on ode-itsekiri. The brits transported the corrupt name across the warri river and called agbarha land(urhobo) "New warri" the ijaws were squating at d bank of the warri river Itsekiris are the owner of Iwere(ode itsekiri, old warri) Urhobos are the owners of Warri town (agbassa, new warri). |

jared007:lies !lies! lies! warri started from alders town, and that is the present odion road, ogedegbe, iyara, ereku, which are all itsekri areas, and across d river u have okere ,also an itsekiri community, rhe adopted and gave the so called okumagba family lands to farm because he married their daughter. today okumagba is claimin lands in warri. the itsekiri benevolents is now been used againnst us.check around all d so called urhobos in warri r all from ughelli,okpe,udu.....etal,non comes from warri, even u r probably from d mentioned enclaves. |

asamaigho:alders town u just mentioned is owned by the urhobos of agbarha-ame. The brits and the great impostor Dore Numa stole the lands and gave them to d itsekiris. Odion and environs is owned by igbudu community but igbudu lost odion to itsekiri becos they failed to erect physical structures there. Iyara forms part of the settlements of okere-urhobo. Chief sam-warri essi of igbudu allowed the itsekiris to settle at merogun. The urhobos of warri are free land owners. The itsekiri chiefs are not even from warri town. |

jared007:ur post made me laff for hours, urhobos and their phantom lies,so it is dat easy to steal land from d urhobos? please i will like u to tell nairalandera d word OKERE URHOBO,wen did urhobo community start bearin okere which is an itsekiri word(small). this same okere urhobo dat was created in 1999 by ibori (urhobo man)govt now owns iyara, nawa u r not even ashamed to lie in broad daylight! dis same urhobos/ijaws dat paid royalties to d itsekiris.now want to us their population and govt influence to oppress d itsekiris. |
| Re: Untold Story Of How 14 Journalists Were Abducted-another Crisis Looming by jared007: 3:34am On Nov 24, 2014 |
asamaigho:sir am not lying o. Someone once said okere is a corruption of the urhobo word "ekere". If u don't like the word okere-urhobo let me address it as okumagba family. Okumagba families are the owners of iyara. Urhobos don't oppress their neighbours. They even love their neighbours more than themselves. Warri town is contigious with the rest of urhobo land with warri river as a boundary. |
