Nasir El-Rufai Predicted the Crude Oil Price Crash to less than $50 way back in 2012, and as usual no one paid attention.

The fracking of shale oil and gas by the US could result in further decline of oil price, the time to act is now, make our refineries work so we will reduce importation.

if Gej cannot think straight with the activities of El rufai and co,then he is not worthy to be a President.

What an elder ( Progressive or apc member) will see when seated, a PDP member will never see, even when standing on an IROKO tree.

He also said this on his Facebook page 2012.
This price crash will force reduced dependency on oil & rent-seeking; we may be truly productive for a change. It will be good for Nigeria. https://m.facebook.com/nasirelrufai/posts/10152342337295128
Let the oil burn! It would be harsh for us at first but we will scale through. This is both good and bad news for Nigeria. Enough dependency on the oil, We have been screaming diversification like forever yet little action from the government. Go back to groundnut pyramids, Go back to agriculture.

It seems a lot more people even support the price crash of the oil. http://mobile.twitter.com/elrufai/status/281690966593777664

Sorry, I don't mean to be rude but it's only logical that if everybody must have known, then also our leaders(FG) must have also known and hereby cushioned the effects of the predicted oil price fall. But that didn't seem to happen now did it?

LMAO!
How much is groundnut in the market? Who says price of agricultural products like cocoa isn't dropping too?
The solution is in manufacturing and serious industrialisation, not mere planting and harvesting. Many other African countries are as over-dependent on Agriculture as we are on oil and they are worse off.
Industrialization is the answer.

Why do I have this feeling that Abati or Okugbe or even SSS (DSS) will soon come out to say that APC is behind the recent oil price and use this tweet as proof.

They also knew. That's why Ngozi Iweala was shouting at the top of her voice that the excess crude account be funded and kept as savings for the rainy day as well as the sovereign wealth fund but the Amaechi led NGF labelled the account illegal and went to court to declare it as such.

So did grow enough garbage and onions to cushion the consequences or was still ogling at a commodity very far away from his backyard.
