This is so Paradoxical.. The Igbos are Minorities in the Hands of People who themselves are minorities to Igbos! Either way, I think development should be evenly spread! But the Igbos themselves can see what Suswam has done to Benue State as a whole! |

Why worry about Benue state, when you have for the last 12 years, rogues as Igbo governors of Abia, Imo, Ebonyi, Rivers, etc? |

Onye ahana Nwanne ya. I will do my best to help these our brothers out. Thank God our brother Ikwerre and Etche are living fine, they never complain nor seek us yet. But certainly betraying of ones father by changing a town named after him to one rubbish name on account of wickedness could meet a disaster at the end. There are ways that seem gud unto a man... igala in Anambra only complain of promotion of their language, most of them if not all speak and practice igbo culture. they have all they needed. SE people of honour, let's help our brothers. |

Gboliwe:those people in that end of Anambra are presently in Kogi state but belong to the southeast but the govt of Anambra can not help matters just like the ebonyi state govt. The problem was that the fed.govt never had direct interaction with people to know where they would love to belong before creating that state and many others. They simply did that out of political interests. Let's see now that the economy is getting tough if they will ask them to return back to their kinsmen. |

pazienza:Umuezeokoha is a divided clan like the Egbema clan of Rivers and Imo states. And theirs was instead as a result of Lord Lugard's desire to create a huge Northern Nigeria. They've been under Northern Nigeria since 1914. The other contiguous half of Umuezeokoha clan was ceded to the old Eastern Nigeria and are currently in Ebonyi state. Some members of Ebonyi state house moved a motion in the year 2000 to bring them back into Ebonyi but didn't succeed. Some members argued that they were better off remaining there as "they've long acculturized with their non Igbo neighbors" Imagine! It was under Sam Egwu's government. I really feel for them; such a significant population. We need to speak up against this brazen maltreatment, even Ohaneze Ndigbo should say something about it. |

Benue State will not join biafra, so better decide whether you are Nigerians or biafrans? |

The fraud is about to take a deadly turn. Buhari and APC, backed with the Biritish are about the pull the biggest scams ever...... Let us see some of the key events leading to where we are now: 1. Buhari visits UK, Niger and Chad to secretly negotiate the way forward for his foot soldiers, Boko Haram 2. Boko haram prisoners sent to Anambra, government initially denies but later admits. 3. Buhari releases 185 Boko Haram Members 4. Bomb blasts in Kano, Jos and Kaduna, etc 5. Oby visits Buhari for the fake BBOG campaign 6. UK Govt said they saw the girls but could not save them 7. In line with what the British Government says, Buhari Blames GEJ for not rescuing the chibok girls 8. Buhari planning to release more Boko Haram prisoners under the guise of exchange with the girls. 9. Buhari toys with Amnesty for Boko Haram 10. APC supports amnesty for their Islamic brothers, Boko Haram........ 11. The Nigerian government claims to have captured the masterminds of the Bomb Blast- very laughable. This is a ploy to make the government appear competent 12.....There will be strong campaigns for amnesty for Boko Haram and swap of the so-called kidnapped girls.... ------------------------------------------------------------------- --Only APC fans support Amnesty for Boko Haram --Only APC people believe in the Chibok Scam (of course they used it as a scam against GEJ) --Only APC fans support the exchange of Boko Haram for the 'Ghost' Chibok Girls -Where are pictures of the kidnapped girls? |

Although I see where the OP is going and the importance of showcasing Igbo of Benue, it really doesn't matter unless we are talking about Igbo/Eastern emancipation as a whole, because those Ngwa folks that allowed their vote to be snatched by PDP in the last election, there agony is more like double wahala |
