Few People Looted Nigeria Through Subsidy In The Last 40 Years – President Tinubu.

President Bola Tinubu said on Monday that a few people stole Nigeria’s commonwealth under the guise of subsidy in the last 40 years.

Tinubu, however, lamented that Nigerians are suffering the pains of the loot.

Speaking at the second-term inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State in Owerri, the President said he is well-attuned to the concerns of citizens, assuring them that the challenges brought on by the very essential reforms are being addressed.

He also disclosed that his administration will give more attention to education and healthcare, as well as provide the enablements for industrialisation and investments in consonance with his vision of creating an economically stable and prosperous country.

According to Tinubu: “In the past 40 years, a few people were cornering our commonwealth and calling it subsidy, but I call it wasteful. Right now, we are all bearing and sharing that pain. But things are looking up. Things will get better for the good of all Nigerians. With me, there is hope.

“I assure you that there will be substantial development in education for your children; priority is on industrialisation and healthcare will receive more allocation and attention. We will train more health workers.

Okay. But your govt that doesn't allow the looting, what is the consequence on Nigerian? Is that not a cure worse than the disease?

Tinubu is a certified hypocrite.

So why did you stage a protest against GEJ in 2012?

We know what you're planning to do with Oando

There was money for subsidy then but now there's no money and Nigeria is in debt using around 96% of its income to service debt.

That is one of the very few things I hold against TINUBU till date.
Aside that I think he deserves a chance, because Nigeria's rot has eaten so deep even the best brains in the world may not make any significant change in the next 5yrs.
I see it as the healing process.

This man is obviously a cretin, currently suffering from cerebral palsy and adanced foolishness. Whenever he talks, you would notice a decomposing state of intellectual engagement.

That is to say, the height of criminality under subsidy regime was never his business since he wasn't the president up untill now. Little wonder he fought against the discontinuation of subsidy programme when Jonathan wanted to put a stop to it.

Is he trying to tell us what we knew already or he felt like advancing that scourge that made him world's most prolific blabbermouth? I just don't get it.🤔

Consequence Management in this country is ZERO.
Until citizens are held accountable for their actions & punished severely for their misdeeds, Nigeria will NEVER make any meaningful progress.

While Tinubu himself, for the past two decades, has been looting the entire common wealth of Lagosians through a blueprint conduit pipe connecting the coffers of the Lagos State Treasury to his personal pocket
