THE ONLY REASON I WOULD HAVE VOTED AGAINST JONATHAN IS IF APC AS A PARTY HAD THOUGHT OF FIELDING FASHOLA AS APC CONSENSUS PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT. VP HAS LITTLE OR NO WEIGHT TO PULL IN A PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM. BECAUSE APC AS A PARTY IS RIDING ON THE HORSE BACK OF FASHOLA'S ACHIEVEMENT.

FASHOLA SORRY OOOH!!! THOUGH U ARE THE GOOSE LAYING THE GOLDEN EGG BUT U ARE NOT CONSIDERED FIT TO TASTE OF IT ON THE ALTAR OF RELIGION.

What happened to separation of state and religion as enshrined in our Constitution? Mixing both is recipe for disaster.

I am confused, is it the party that determine Vice Presidential candidate or the person that wins the primary. Primary elections has not been conducted and people are already talking about a Vice President. Na wa oooo!!!

If it wasn't for the greed, selfishness and self attitudes of "born to rule leaders" it would have been easy to challenge Jonathan for aso rock and possible send him packing! If they can forget about zoning the crown to the north and presenting candidates like fashiola and Donald Duke! Two very credible leaders with track records! Against Jonathan who pardons every corrupt person! Then they will have unfetted access to ASO ROCK

Whether they like it or not, no vacancy in Aso Rock. Fill in Buhari/Fashola, Tinubu/Fashola, Atiku/Buhari,Rochas/Oshiohmole, etc. NO VACANCY IN ASO ROCK!

If Fashola could be successful governing a condensed religous state like Lagos without any breakdown of law or religous riots like we have in the north,i see no reason why a truly and sincere aspirant would be thinking a muslim-muslim ticket is compulsory.

Nigerians want change and cared less which religion he or she comes from,be it a xtian or muslim.

If APC or Fashola is sincere,no foolhardy should be told less that there is nothing wrong with a Buhari/Fashola ticket despite being muslims.Nigerians no longer care about their di verse religious backgrounds of their political parties anymore as long as the candidate has fair credibility and has a good intention for better leadership.

Nigerians must get it right !

And why are the Yoruba not writing and propaganding for the removal of East and South from Nigeria so that Buhari will be their president?

South Yemen is fighting for independence from the North. ..what are the eastern and southern Nigeria waiting for? Igbo has no similarity with the Yoruba and Hausa...

And where will the religion come to play? Is it southwest where religion comes after competence or the north who will see the pair as a win-win. APC won't have a foothold in the south south and south east.

Not choosing a strong candidate from south west will open the gates for PDP to move in.
APC should exploit their strong points rather than trying to ammend their weakness....they might just lose everything in the process

Really pathetic.

Each time I read comments here I kept on asking myself,does Nigeria have youth,does it have 2morro,I proffer answers to my question and I shake my head. The same youths that should come together and say enough is enough to all this politicians. The same youths that should take to the street and say enough is enough. The same you and I that should forget religion and tribal stuff if not for anything but for the fact that our futures are in danger. The are lots of us on the street without a job on the street yet we keep clamouring for these politicians. God have mercy on us cos Nigeria seem cursed... I Pray for a better Nigeria. I pray that you and I pray to God to open our minds and see that we are been used religiously.
