We are doing a lot of things when it comes to environment. We are putting permanent structures on street cleanliness. We are clearing drainages and moving garbage’s from receptacles. We just deliberated last week on how to get owners of the structures close to the receptacles to clear the grasses around the area. Grasses gives an impression of abandonment even when the place is clean grasses make the place look unkempt.

We are also trying to make sure that houses on the major roads are painted. We want to have clean streets with proper street markings, and directional signs and street lightings. That is the first thing you will see at the Upper Iweka which we have transformed from the notorious den of criminal to the luxury buses’ activities to what you see now. We are only 60 per cent done, by the time we are 100 per cent done, it will be a super place which creates a good impression about the state.
