Wow. Can we say 'Thank God'? If indeed he was trying to do things the 'right' way, he should have applied wisdom. When you're in Rome, you act like Romans.America and Nigeria are two different places entirely. He asked for this, his stubbornness and lack of sympathy is his major undoing. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Dear Customers,

We will be two weeks behind from our usual weekly cargo delivery. NAHCO was shut down last week due to some misunderstanding and clash between custom officers and clearing agents. This issue appears to have been resolved but at the moment NAHCO is still closed pending the replacement of the previous Controller. We hope for customs to resume sometime this week as soon as a new Controller is appointed.

I guess I was 'lucky' Lol. Mind you, as at when I was charged 181, exchange rate in the open market was 177+ to a dollar.

But official exchange rate on the forex was 184 yesterday.

Where did you see that? I simply typed dollars to naira exchange on Google yesterday and followed the Nigerian forex update for yesterday. I saw 177.something

Customs might resume fully by next week even though issues have been resolved. Last week and this week already wasted.

On same Google, using exact same process, same yesterday. There is a yesterday news on punch that shows this in the screenshot below. It just eased a little bit today to 183.somtin

I think that's exactly what it means all shipment will commence pickup 2weeks back meaning all shipment of Nov 17th, Nov 24th and 1st december will start pickup @lagos office maybe dis week or next week starting from 17th Nov shipment and d next week for 24th shipment in that trend. But I think it should be able to be merged together since d 2shipment (17th and 24th Nov) is already @ d lagos airport.......... I guess Oga Chinox has d final say on all these ooooo
