Suggest Another Nigerian Meal That Can Replace RICE Onchristmas Day by ogahlouiskid18(op): 10:00pm On Dec 01, 2014
For as long as we can remember, Rice has been not just a
staple food but a festive food. Rice is the preferred (and
expected) meal to be served to guests at parties, special
occasions and on festive days.
Now here’s the question: let’s say we all wake up one day
to discover that Rice has vanished from the face of the
earth, which meal would/should take Rice’s unique place,
and why?
Waiting for answers.

Like seriously. I have once think about the secret behind cooking rice during festive seasons but it seems to me that rice is widely accepted by all and its also economical so maybe that's the reason. But here in France, we no cook rice during Christmas period
