Before the show started mnet already had predetermined Winners, Macky 2 or East African contestant. Macky a millionaire Rapper from Zambia who before coming to the house organized & paid people to campaign and vote for him from all over Southern Africa. This is why he can afford to chill, say little & still know that he can win the money. This does not provide a level playing field for all the contestants, it sends a wrong message that if you have money, you can pay a P/R company, get to biggie’s house, relax and watch your money work for you. He should have come during the star game to compete with other rich stars from all over Africa.
East Africa
From the beginning, I knew their (mnet) choice will use between Idris & Ella after they let Laveda and Esther go. After the last Eviction, it became obvious they had made their choice, Idris. For all we know, Ella may have gotten the Kenyan vote. For business and other reasons I think Mnet at times distributes country votes to favour whoever they want (remember Esther & Ella).
THE TRUE WINNER
From the 1st week, Tayo has been the most talked about housemate. He single handedly entertained us while others sat in groups to gossip. He did and said things that made us dislike him but the next day you are back in love with him. We could see through him, he wasn’t an instigator, manipulators or gossip, he was just too real even when it worked against him. He may be the most Flawed housemate, which I am comfortable with because perfect pretentious people make me uncomfortable. His greatest flaw is coming from West Africa (Nigeria), thanks to Mnet the region has only two country votes. For this reason, the housemate who stood out from the rest, who entertained, who gave us something to talk about, who gave so many slangs, ‘The Hotshot’ of season 9 may be denied his win. This will be a great injustice.
I suggest you (Mnet) give half of the money to your predetermined Winners and the other half to Tayo who made the most boring BBA worth watching.
