please i need you advice as regards Costa a five months old rottweiler although he barks well ,obeys commands but run round the house like someone high on weed sometimes as much as ten laps cos i have watched him alot .
he is also very aggresive and vicious unlike regular dog which i consider abnormal. so i need advice on the next line of action .

walk the dog very well, long distance as much as u xan or better still if u av a CLEAN large compund let him run all his 50laps in it when he is tired he will come and sleep.

a tired dog is a well behaved dog.

so what do u prefer? a dormant dull dog? you better be grateful for what you got

The breed is a very high energy breed and they need to be exercised to get the best out of them. Make sure you walk him a lot or design a plan on exercising him. Don't let him enjoy doing it on his own because he will be too independent later and the result wouldn't be nice. You have a top dog that need proper handling.

Go on long walks with your dog regularly. Reward him when its calm...sitting. that way it understands its good to be calm. Redirect the energy into performing tasks and excersice.

Ok...there are 2 ways out. First of all, try and walk him a lot, I mean at least 1hr walk away from the house. If it doesnt walk, the other procedure is kinda critical. I follow Dr. Chris Brown of Bondi vet in Australia. He once came across a bull dog owner who had this problem and he's diagnosis was dat the dog was secreting large qty of testosterone higher than usual for dogs as was also seen in d size of his testes which also looked oversize. He decided to take it for a procedure at his vet clinic to see ow it could be corrected. So probly ur dog is secreting high levels of testosterone too. #jessaying
