looks fishy. I think the zero ceases to exist and one can write 1-+3 and get -2 there. If you use BODMAS and add first the 0 to the 3 you'll have 3 with the negative sign still there as zero is a neutral number.
You can't
1-+3 is the same as 1(-1*+1)+3

Zero plus any number is the number itself.

Following BODMAS and doing addition first, it becomes -0+3 which can be turn around as +3-0 which is the same as 3+0

2 - [1 - (1 - [-1] - 2) + 3]
2 - [1 - (1 + 1 - 2) + 3]
2 - [1 - (2 - 2) + 3]
2 - [1 - 2 + 2 + 3]
2 - [4]
-2
icebeatz see your life? [1-(2-2)+3] this is pure bodmas, the negative sign in front of the bracket doesn't change anytin inside it, plus the brackets are solved first, the answer is 4.. Go ask a prof.. Its meant to be: 2-[1-(2-2)+3]. 2-[1-(0)+3]= 2-[1-+3]= 2-[-2]=4 brb

The answer is -2

2 - [1 - (1 - [2 - 3] - 2) + 3]

2 - [1 - (1 - [-1] - 2) + 3]

2 - [1 -(1 + 1 - 2) + 3]

2 - [1 - (0) + 3]

2 - [ 4 ]

= -2

You were doing great until 2 - [1-0+3].
In BODMAS, u solve + before -.
So 0+3 = 3
Therefore it's 2 - (1-3)
Which is 2 - (-2)
Which is 2+2

ANSWER is a bloody 4.

How can you open up the bracket without solving what is in the bracket? It is BODMAS. Meaning solve the bracket first.

The highlighted cannot be correct.

Same thing I'm trying to point out to femi4. He was like -0+3 can be rearranged as 3-0 which I feel should be when its just those two numbers.

For those that got -2 and 4, the difference in answer stems from the bolded.
Should the bracket be expanded with minus or should the (2-2) be simplified to the to lowest form before opening the bracket like this

2- [1 - (1 - [2 - 3] - 2) + 3]
2- [1- (1- [-1] -2) +3]
2- [1- (1--1-2) +3]
2- [1- (1+1-2) +3]
2- [1- (2-2) +3]
2- [1- (0) +3]

2- [1-0 +3]
2- [1-+3]
2- [1-3]
2- [-2]
2--2
2+2
4

My verdict: First, I feel it's always advisable to simplify whatever inside a bracket to the simplest form before opening the bracket to make it easy. Second, I feel (2-2) should be simplified to the lowest form before opening the bracket. Why?
Even the OP, in the first/second step simplified the [2-3] to the lowest form before opening the bracket.

Exactly!

I got 4 as well. When there is no multiplication how can he open the bracket? If that is so then he should have opened it from the beginning. He can't just be selective. And here i was thinking that he studied maths.

You cannot just rearrange like that. Every number takes the sign before it, so you cannot move the number and leave the sign for another number.
