Oga icebeatz, I hope you did not bring it here to count the number of olodos we have here, huh? Anyway, here is your answer:

2 - [1 - (1 - [2 - 3] - 2) + 3]
= 2 - [1 - (1 - [ - 1] - 2) + 3]
= 2 - [1 - (2 - 2) + 3]
= 2 - [1 - 0 + 3]
= 2 - [4]
= - 2

Now, go an' disown unfriend all your facebook friends that tried to answer except...

Just tell them you were simply acting on my command, okay?

most of those with 0 as their ans did not bother to solve it cos most questions like this usually ends up to b zero. but I've done the calculation again with Biro and paper and got -2.

You are right. That is where the trick lies. When my friend did his calculation, we argue on that part. We had to solve that part with a calculator before i was convinced. Math is a bitch. Nice one OP.

So indirectly, what you're saying is that where I got this 2- [1-+3], the minus sign should have disappear with the zero?
Clear my doubt on this

It is because of this thought that I left out the zero but left behind the negative sign

You cannot leave behind the minus sign cos it goes with the zero. Thus minus zero or plus zero still gives the same figure answer which is whatever figure is added to the zero.

JAVANESE:

my broda hw [1-0+3] take give u [4]. Its soposd 2 be [-2]

That is not the sequence.
Lets us use simple word problem to solve the equation at the point where you have '2-[1-0+3]' with emphasis on the figures in bracket.
'1-0+3' can be put in word form as "I have 1 orange at hand, then I take away none and add three oranges, how many oranges do I have left"
Break it down as follows:
I have one Orange i.e. 1
then I take away none i.e. 1-0 = 1
and add three oranges i.e. 1+3
How many oranges do I have left? i.e. 1+3 = 4

2 - [1 - (1 - [2 - 3] - 2) + 3]

2 - [1 - (1 - [-1] - 2) + 3]

2 - [1 -(1 + 1 - 2) + 3]

2 - [1 - (0) + 3]

2 - [ 4 ]

= -2

Re: Solve This Simple Maths Question If You Can!:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: by Ejipat: 1:09pm On Dec 08, 2014
Before I solve the question, I want to point out something. The question did not pass standard mathematical logic. First the question is a form of nesting, however in standard nesting you don't repeat an demarcation symbol. So it is not best to repeat the sign [] as was used in the question. It should have been stated as 2-{1 - [1 - (2 - 3) - 2] + 3} or better still 2-{3+1 - [-2+1 - (2-3)]} i.e. standard nesting.
However the correct answer is -2.
adanny01:

2 - [1 - (1 - [2 - 3] - 2) + 3]
2 - [1 - (1 - [- 1] - 2) + 3]
2 - [1 - (1 + 1 - 2) + 3]
2 - [1 - (0) + 3]
2 - [1 - 0 + 3]
2 - [4]
2 - 4
-2
