Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State has been elected as the
gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in the 2015 general
Elections.
The governorship primary held at the Grasshoppers
International Handball Stadium was supervised by some
officials of the Independent National Electoral
Commission, (INEC) in conjunction with some national
officers of the party from Abuja amidst tight security.
Ihedioha polled a total of 346votes to beat his closest
rival, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume who scored 336 votes,
while former governor Ikedi Ohakim had 213 votes.
The exercise which commenced by 2pm with the
accreditation of 1064 delegates comprising both statutory
and ad hoc delegates from the 305 electoral wards of the
27 local government areas of the state ended by 12 am.

Will Imo people be magnanimous to vote an Mbaise man as governor? I dont think so.

The fact on ground is that our people (from Orlu to Okigwe to Owerri)are weary of Mbasense and it will be succidal giving it to him.

I'm tryin to concur with u...but...with Rochas still chasing the presidency, Okpu green will definitely beat other opponents. I see Nothing wrong if an Mba5 man enters douglas house for the first time in history. (Mind u, I'm from Orlu)

1. The number of your Orlu-Okigwe-Owerri delegates by far outweighs the number of Mbaise delegation. Yet they voted him to fly their flag. So, what are you not saying?

2. What ever tricks you can't see, even from the highest mountain, these politicians see them with their eyes closed. Yet, Ihedioha was voted in by 'THEM'. Once again, what are you not saying?

It is no secret that the Mbaise people are being marginalized by other factions of Imo, in spite of their competitive population. That you are openly admitting it erases goodwill from your intentions.

Congrats Emeka Ihedioha. I will like to know his plans for Imo. Am not interested where he comes from provided he something to offer. Likewise all other aspirants like Iheanacho and the would be APC aspirants. Point to note is that they will not woo Imo with clannish and tribal sentiments like GEJ but the visions and plans for the state.
