I passed idiroko border last year cos of the disturbance of seme. That place gave me the chills . It looks like a war torn area.. And easy to smuggle. The ebola has made them a bit strict! When you enter benin you cool down |

Ilekeh:Yoruba is actually one of Benin's ethnic groups. they make up more than 10% of the population. It used to be under the administration of the Oyo empire before its fall, However they have a different dialect |

Olufemiolaolu:oh u don't know?? Go and see their toll booth too and round about before entering coutonou . Bike is mainly for personal use and there are more women driving bike .. Very orderly.. When I saw their makoko version I trip for the beauty and cleanliness of the water there . |

| Re: A Nairalander Trip To benin Republic Via Idiroko Boarder Ogun State Nigeria by solochris(m): 5:59pm On Dec 09, 2014 |
they have separate lane for Okada, we have separate lane for BRT, we r still ahead of them. shikina! |
| Re: A Nairalander Trip To benin Republic Via Idiroko Boarder Ogun State Nigeria by iamord(m): 6:06pm On Dec 09, 2014 |
solochris:they don't have a brt system. Yet a more organised transportation system. The people are mainly low income so bikes are the new car. Not like here that if u no pack ride dem no go respect you. also when it comes to urban planning a lot of things has to be in places pavements, disabled line, road signs etc of which that is lacking in so many areas in nigeria |
| Re: A Nairalander Trip To benin Republic Via Idiroko Boarder Ogun State Nigeria by ITbomb(m): 6:10pm On Dec 09, 2014 |
Olufemiolaolu:As a man thinketh, you are as backward as you your reasoning. A low income country having a separate Lane for bike that Nigeria is gradually phasing out is what you think is ahead. They have separate Lane for bike, we have separate Lane for buses (BRT). |

ITbomb:What a joke. Phasing out what? Even when okada was a prominent commodity, roads weren't built aside for them. Your roads do not even accommodate pedestrians or bicycles, talkless of okada. Are people phasing out too? |
