The proprietress of the school said she has not been receiving any message from Sure-p, because the email address she used to register on GIS website is no more active. She has forgotten the password and in retrieving the password she needs the yahoo ID which she can't remember also. This have prevented her from accessing her account on the GIS website. I am at a cross road, my status on the GIS account is already reading "hired" whereas I'm still jobless, the employer has not been able to matched me and other interns on line due to lack of access to her GIS account. Messages have been sent to the PIU, they only acknowledge the receipt, no action have been taken. I'm thinking of rematch? or what should I do sir?

NB: Somebody called her on the day of the fair via her GSM to come and join the other employers. There was no prior information

If your account is showing 'hired' that means your employer has been able to log into her GIS account to hire you since she is the only one that can do so. Except you meant to type 'pending hired'.

I don't know how is it possible for ur employer not gaining access to her GIS account talkless of accepting u online and yet ur status read 'hired'.

From what u said I don't think this an approved sure p firm, somebody that don't even remember her email address. This of one of those that might need cheap labour.

Anyway I think ur case will be to b rematched with another approved sure p firm provided u know their details and also that they still have space for intern, then u can supply that information for Puntersmind for his assistance in re-matching u.

The internship fair is new initiative by sure p to facilitate matching of prospective interns with potential employers, it most likely a yearly event. with level of preparation and planning involved I don't think monthly is feasible and as such no any state have it twice though some might have it for 3/4 days during the time of the fair.

Thanks , the employer called me yesterday that her husband had been able to access the account because he was the one that helped to register her firm with sure-p. However, She has sent another email address to sure-p and she used it to send our (interns) scanned employer's confirmation & account opening forms that was why the status read 'hired'. All is now settled. Thanks for ur concern
