This is why Nigeria will not move forward. The poster is basing his/her arguments of tribal and religious sentiments. Notice how the first qualifications he/she listed were tribe and religion. What was her track record when she was in public service? No mentions. Except she was an incorruptible public servant. Based on what criteria? As for me, I will gladly go with either Fashola or Oshiomole. And if I should add my own candidate, I will add Donald Duke of Cross Rivers and strike out Amechi from that list.

P.S. I'm an Igbo and a Christian. From the same state as Mrs. Ezekwesili. I believe she may have some good track record as an activist and world bank vice president, but it isn't quite the same as a political office.

On Anyday, at anytime anyone dat is familiar wit nigerian history will take Buhari's dictatorship over d civilian misrule of d criminal national party of nigeria (NPN) under Shagari. d thieving politicians wrecked d economy & plunged d nation into a recession & an unprecedented debt burden which Buhari started paying & which decades later OBJ completed.
What I meant by he restored d economy back is exactly dat - GMB RESTORED D ECONOMY BACK. Foodstuffs & essential commodities like sugar, milk, soap etc dat disappeared frm d supermarket shelves reappeared. He started d payment of debt accrued by d thieving politicians. He refused to devalue d naira & thru economic ingenuity he kept d inflationary rate between 3-5% & d exchange rate at $1 to 1 naira. These ar not mere claims but truth.
