I ve been a lover of nairaland, infact I ve even introduced to my sisters, dad and friends. Since I discovered this site in 2008 shortly I became a member but I ve used 3 different account, most of the time because I forgot my password or a problem with my mail,but I always visit nairaland daily either as a guest or with my account but I ve fixed that and this is my permanent account(hopefully). But recently now some really silly topic just appears in front page. The front page used to have really interesting and capturing topic which sometimes make one laugh, was educating, interesting and could make you stay for hours on nairaland. Now out of the front page topics I saw this morning. Only 3 I opened. I am not saying those topics on nairaland are not interesting but they best be left in their sections. I ve always enjoyed nairaland and still do, but the MODS really need to sit up and sort this out. Thanks.

I am not saying nairaland is not fun. Its just the rate at which some topic which are not FP worthy are placed there is not cool. Some better remain in the sectiom where there were created.

The MODS should do what needs to be done and not put topics on the FP unnecssarily.
RULE 20? Fine it is necessary to respect the MODS but that should not make them bullies on nairaland.

That particular mod has been an abusive derailer before becoming a mod.

whoever is behind frontpage moderator should let her know her job is supposed to be limited to pushing topics to frontpage, not acting out her personal grudges and vendetta against nl members.

abi can you people spell out the exact duties and responsibilities of each moderator so we know if their job includes attacking regular posters on the forum.

and while you're at it, they should also let us know the names of their sheeple and ecosystem here who are mini moderators by virtue of being the moderator buddies.

It baffles me alog to see unnecessary posts making front page day in day out....
what is our business with birthday of an artist we don't even know their music? what is our business with sexiest idiot so called celebrity? how is all those educative? how is all those informative
It beats my imagination whenever I see sensible posts not making front page which always run into my thinking "what the hell is the job of the moderators?"

The thing I hate the most- cronyism

It really is not the type of change I expected on nairaland. A FP topic could have over 30 pages but right now u juz see some with only 2-5. That aint ryt. Let the relevant, captivating and educative topic make FRONT PAGE.
