Yes.

I traveled from Nsukka to Awka in October along that road with no stress. Only problem is the road is lonely.

Thats wonderful. Will give it a try this Christmas, I have a wedding to attend in nsukka. Going through the express is now a herculean task meandering through pot holes and swinging lanes to avoid bad portions of d road.

I Hope GEJ speed up the construction by next year.

The road starts off from the market and while one continues straight to umunya, the other makes a "Y" form with it veering off towards Ogbunike. And from there, it connects to "Ugwu-Nwasike-Azu-Ogbunike-Azu-Ama­wa-Osile-Ifite-Umueri-Saint Monica College-Ogbunike Cave Road" which is ongoing. 5months ago Obiano also promised that more roads leading to the heritage site would soon be flagged off as well. So I don't know how many access roads are under construction at the moment in that region. You know that region is where the 3 Local Govt Areas- Idemili, Oyi and Dunukofia meet themselves.

The road is thru.
Even those travelling to Idah, Kogi State prefer it. Presently Gov. Willie Obiano is expanding the Road from Aguleri junction towards Ayamelum to Enugu State border and is also adding gutters. The contractor doing the job is Doliz Constructions. I'll get you the pictures within the week.

Nwanne, I officially signed off from this thread when it was being derailed from all angles, But my Anambra resilient spirit kept disturbing me, How can We allow ndiro to put sand in our garri, kept praying for sanity to return n for our overzealous brothers to stop falling prey to their traps.

Let not rest on our oars, as u travel home for Christmas, get us sharp pictures of development in ur towns, ofala festivals, mmanwu dance, age grade installation, town end of year party, chieftancy coronation, trad n white weddings etc.

Let this thread be bombarded with quality pictures by January. Awka and environs is my area of coverage.
