I think the sensible thing to do is to at least wait till after February presidential elections before embarking on any industrial action otherwise the motivation is purely 'stomach infrastructure'! 3 Likes |

the pump price of petrol also needs to be decreased. crude oil is selling for half of its original price and govt is still paying 1 trillion naira in subsidy. To whom? Are they still buying at the old price? 10 Likes |

Actually the workers are right. There has to be some adjustments, serious one for that matter. The price of fuel is the most concerned. If fuel price has dropped in the international market it implies that it has to incline within the country. There very true. How can there be devaluation in naira and the prices of items shoting up while the basic salary of workers remain still. They're not in any way proportional. Something has to be done. 5 Likes |

Why are they waiting till next year? Nigeria's labour is the most docile in the globe The unions have been paying lip service to the yeanings of the members for too long. And the average worker is continually impoverished. |

GEJ is certainly in trouble with the current economic situation in our nation ...I just pray the INEC not to be a party to bloodshed by rigging the 2015 election in favour of any political party, let the vote of the people count. As far as I'm concern,GEJ and his team don't deserve anyother term,I don't care who wins the election, all I want is change, enough of PDP..... 8 Likes |

Agitating so that he will use workers' heads and swell his bank account because once monetary gagging is effected he will begin to align with the government. There is nothing like TUC/NLC in Nigeria after the days of Comrade Oshiomole. 2 Likes |
