I bought the dog from a Lebanese colleague in the office.
upon further inquiry, I was convinced that the dogs are gsd aside goggle search and visit to the Veterinary Doctor who does treatment for him.
in fact, i was taken to see the first owner of the sire which happen to be in her third generation.
The stud was imported from France during his holiday visit which i am aware of.

i also attached picture of my mongrel (jackie) for you to compare.

@Arcbay please advance your knowledge, not all gsd are black and tan or slant back.

Firstly, I don't recall saying anything that only black and tan GSDs are pure bred.

Secondly, you said you were taken to the vet doctor who treats the sire of the pup and he confirmed that the sire is pure bred...Are you this gullible? What were you expecting the vet to say? You expected him to say the pup ain't pure right in front of the client?
also, I wonder why you keep emphasizing on the "Lebanese guy" issue. Does being Lebanese make his dogs pure? Is that your criteria for judgment.

Finally, I want you to know I only offered my advice in my previous post and meant no harm. My prayer for every breeder and pet-handler is that WE WILL ALL MEET AT THE TOP. My prayer is that one day other countries can look up to Naija in terms of breed standards and quality. I don't want you to see it as if i'm criticizing your pups. If I did, t'was just to make you work for the best.

Anyways, I still stand by the bet...IN 2 MONTHS TIME, I'M GONNA ASK YOU TO POST THEIR PICTURES. Please be a perfect gentleman and upload the pictures whenever I ask of them. I want every NLder to see what your so-called pure-bred pups will turn into.

you have your point to prove. however, i want you to understand that the parent dogs i.e the father pure gsd while the mother cross gsd/. more like a 100% and 50% averagely 75% more or less purity.
that been said, 2 months is a deal.
i have never said i am an expert. as a matter of fact i am not a breeder but i'm curious to learn.
furthermore, thank you for blowing the alarm, that has given me more instinct for inquiry and refund of about 60%

No Hard feelings bro...It's always difficult accepting the truth especially when we are the victim...Mark this date, I will re-call this thread exactly 2months from now, asking for the recent pics of those pups of yours, I just hope you can be a perfect gentleman and post pictures by then, just so others can learn from the situation.

I'm not saying I know it all, as a matter of fact no one is an island, but I must point this out...I've spent all my life around dogs, that I can tell what a pup will grow up to become, by just studying the features from birth. I'm sure most breeders and pet owners in here share this view too...
It's only a matter of time, I hope you don't end up feeling bad about the pups you bought...Pups are perfect companions, just give them the love and attention they deserve and watch them grow, but one thing you should note is that they ain't good for breeding...

Please stop contradicting urself and accept you were wrong!!! Did u read ur post that I initially quoted? You claimed ur quack VET confirmed the purity of the pup and that u were sure because it was sold to you by ur Lebanese colleague...

Anyways, I hands off now, just want people to learn thru you, always take criticisms as a medium of advancement and leverage on ur spotted weaknesses... Just so you may know, those 3 pups u posted are all Mongrels in the making... The 3 of them put together shouldn't be more than 3,500 Naira...

The fact that a pup looks cute at the moment doesn't mean they will retain those features when fully grown, always endeavor to seek advice before choosing ur pup.

Just keep in mind that u can't be fed into a breeding programme... They could be good as guard dogs or prolly pets, but never can be bred... CHEERS!!!

wanted to buy only the female..but Dango was almost given freely since it a mix..
they are 4 month old now..

right now I am pondering if I will have the time to buy and maintain a high quality gsd abroad at the same time studying, I cant do without a dog..i will be leaving by July..leaving these ones behind

Just know where to look, you can get a good GSD in Naija here with half of the price . But if you are talking of abroad, definitely you will have a top quality with lesser amount. Shipping is the reason most imported dogs are expensive.

thanks bro for your reply, i just contacted deepsting on how much it cost for everything..for just one puppy he said he spent total 3..,000 naira meanwhile i can only manage 350k to get 2 pups..
i never knew it was the shipping that consume the whole dough..thinking of the other alternative, maybe i will get to sublime kennel then and get 2 with that amount....just really fed up with these nigerian gsd

Nigerians like shortcuts and the breeders are just breeding according to the market . Shipping 2 pups is almost he same price as shipping one so h can still get a good deal by adding little amount to your budget.
