Lagtech is a business designed primarily to help Nigerians get quality items for cheap prices in the United States and on the Internet. Our reliance on 3rd and 4th party shippers has caused us many losses and problems to the point where some people actually think we are out to scam people.
We are a business offering services to thousands of people in Nigeria , the United States and many other countries.
The experience of the last few months has necessitated a change in the way we do business. We want to have happy customers-who spend their money with peace of mind.
We have put an end to the multiple delays.
This is our last month dealing with 3rd and 4th party shippers. We will get all our items that have been delayed and give to the owners. Where we cannot in a matter of days-we will provide a refund.

Sir this is not really fair to me at all. It seems every other week-you come here to post and cast aspersions on my person. In over 4 months-you have emailed me just 3 times-but have posted more than 3 times in the last 1 month. Whereas in the past you emailed almost every day- Lagtech pick this from Craigslist -Lagtech pick that up from Craigslist.
I have constantly apologized to you about this delay. Why would we purposely delay people's items. Does it make any sense not to deliver items quickly? How do we get repeat business when original orders are not deliverd?
Your sea shipment items left in July were supposed to land around September ending to October. Standard sea shipping is 4 to 6 weeks from New York and up to 3 months from mid USA and the California area. On paper-your items are several weeks later than the agreed date sir. I understand if you are not happy about the slowness of our service-but to cast aspersion on my integrity is not right. There are items that have been delayed at the ports for months upon months-no one calls the agent or shipper a scam artist.

I suffered for you sir. Driving hundreds of miles at times to pick up large boxes of books without even getting advance payment. While charging $30 commission as craigslist transactions-we charged you $100 flat rate per month-sometimes picking up 10 or more times a month for you-meaning we were charging you $10 or less-all because we assumed that since the items were for a school-we dont need to charge you to make a profit. And in almost every case-you paid weeks after the job had been done.

As of today-we are still being owed by you almost 30k from August/September. All the last pick ups I did for you-you have not paid me commission nor petrol cost. Not once did I bother you or cast aspersion on your dignity and integrity. For almost 2 months I didnt hear from you-not a single email. You then emailed saying that one of the parents in your school had given you a bad cheque-so you could not pay me-but NOT ONCE did I email you or chase you for the money owed for jobs done.
We have not stolen your goods sir-all the books and items we got for you are yours.
By the Grace of God your items will be picked up and we can all rest from this.

Bros-you are always talking about ignoring you. Even people that paid 1k-we dont ignore-why will I now ignore a big oga. Check your email address-there is not one email you sent to me that I have not replied. All your questions I have answered multiple times. We expect multiple pick ups from this weekend. Any item ordered from us that we cant pick up in the next 2 pick ups-we will make refunds-so that people no longer have to wait. When the items are eventually picked up-we can sell them to you or anyone else.

We apologise. We do our best. With refunds-its a challenge as any refund we are making -we loose money. If we make N10,000 refund-we have lost about 2k on that. When an item has already been shipped-its double challenge.
We have made many refunds. We have a list and yours is next-payment should be Tuesday.

We have about 27 laptops that should have arrived since November-but have been delayed. They will be available for sale between January 5th and 14th in Lagos. You can pay and pick up from the shippers office in Ikeja.

Laptop Repairs
If you have a computer repair shop or you sell laptop parts-we have about 50 laptops we are selling for 5k to 7k each including shipping. All are incomplete and we assume that whoever is buying wants to use the parts from them: screens, keyboards, dvd drives etc. They are mostly dual cores and Pentium Ms. The most complete ones need hard drives and chargers to make whole.

Whenever I see how bittered he is and i am sad too...

And I believe u and Jimmy are good people with good intentions. But pls try and do update first, not until people started showing how angry they are b4 u do update. To my fellow importers pls and pls let pray for Lagtech that God should see him tru this problem and help him in is business. cursing and calling him a scammer won't do any good. The problem is facing can happen to any one of us. It happen to me too during the ekiti election. And b4 u start saying I won't understand how 100+ can be tired down. I also order for 8laptops from Lagtech since Sept 12 till date I only collect 2laptops and one of them is without battery n charger. So I understand what u are going tru. Infact I have stop telling people that I have laptops coming from the US cause of many failed pickup dates. So the easiest thing we can do for Lagtech is to put him in prayer either for refund or for ur items. Am a silent follower. I don't comment always , just my 2kobo!

We appreciate all our customers and apologise for the delays that has affected many people. Since April we have delivered over 300 laptops and hundreds of other items to many people on Nairaland. This present predicament is almost as its end. If we delivered over 1000 different items-there is no reason we will not deliver 30 items.
We are definitely having pick ups this week. We have at least 2 to 5 boxes already confirmed to be in Lagos. 2 boxes are coming through Chinos and he has confirmed that we can pick up hopefully this weekend. There are also 2 other boxes that USPS mis -delivered-so they arrived late to Chinos-so he only shipped them on Monday. We hope to possibly get these this weekend too.
Another 3 are from a shipper in Ikeja.
No one can grow a business by cheating people. No one can build a billion naira business by delaying the delivery of items. We are building a billion naira business. These last few months have taught us many lessons.
As I said yesterday-anyone with items not picked up during the pick up this week and next week-we will arrange for your refund. We have already given over 400k worth of refunds between October and December and will still be paying some refunds this week.
This business has relied too much on 3rd and 4th part shippers and rather than make money-we have lost money heavily-which is why from January-we have new arrangements for our items.
We cant keep on begging shippers and at the same time customers and still be loosing money.

ogbeni forget all this threats u are issuing on seun,seun didn't ask you to do business with him. Go and look at various cases in the auto section and u will realize where u stand . If u have sent ur life savings to the op that is ur own business. And let me tell u the likely outcome of involving seun in this issue,firstly seun will ban lagtech from posting or updating this thread until he pays his clients,then seun lock the thread until all every single debtor has been paid up by lagtech ,which maybe 2015 dec. Which means u won't be able to contact on this thread, you will have to start opening new threads all over. And remember lagtech doesn't live in nigeria ,once he is banned from posting on nairaland ,that is the end of all this saga. So ur best bet is to keep seun out of this and keep applying pressure of lagtech and sort things out with him. Once this thread is reported IT WILL BE LOCKED .
