SWING LO SWING HI Vehicle Highlights This two-seater blends American styling with engineering from Chrysler's parent-company Mercedes-Benz. With an ample supply of 2005 versions still available, Chrysler has skipped the 2006 model year for Crossfire, but promises there will be a 2007 version. Crossfire comes as a hatchback coupe and as a convertible with a power soft top and heated glass rear window. Both body styles offer base, Limited, and SRT6 models. All have a Mercedes V6. Base and Limited have 215 hp. SRT6 is supercharged for 330 hp. Base and Limited come with a 6-speed manual transmission. A 5-speed automatic with manual shift gate is standard on the SRT6 and optional on the others. SRT6s also have a sport suspension and unique interior and exterior trim. ABS, traction/antiskid control, and side airbags are standard on all Crossfires. Curtain side airbags are unavailable. A plug-in air compressor and a can of tire sealant are provided instead of a spare tire. Limited and SRT6 come with leather upholstery and are available with a navigation system.
