The above phrase is common among Nigerians and my humble self once said it when i was arguing with a bus conductor over twenty naira change though i was just a secretary of tenants in my house, funny, you said? . The phrase, 'do you know who i am' i experienced recently was between two men fighting over whose right of the way, one of them came out of his car shouting 'do you know wu ayam' when i looked at the man's face, i laughed out loud, reason being that i knew him to be a driver at my brother's company. Though, not everybody that say it, but majority of people that say it are 'nobody' quote and unquote. Nairalanders, your take on this? @mod pls, its not out of place for this to be on FP. |
