Imagine they reduced capital expenditure but increase their comsumption(recurrent expenditure) and they want us to adjust in our spending and lifestyle. So the auterity is for us only. Let us all work and send this clueless people away before they choke Nigeria up. GMB2015

Even when your governors attend their periodical meetings alongside your traditional leaders nah only them dey waka come?

On a daily basis Aso Rock is inunduated with meetings and refreshments are provided for the accompanying security details and aides.

The presidency has a total budgetary allocation of N26.6 billion Can we compare how much states controlled by APC or even PDP spend in their different government houses.

Is it illegal? Remember the budget will pass through the house, if its too much let them do the needful. Off course they will not do anything since all of them(Pdp,apc,apga,lp) are part of the looting and unnecessary expenditure. Change your constitution, de-centralise the damn government, make the states to pay to the center and see how everybody will sit. You guys can complain from now till eternity nothing will change rather it get more worse.

Government had, due to dwindling prices of oil, proposed a budget of N4.3trillion. Capital expenditure was cut to N633.53 billion as against N1.552 trillion in 2014, but recurrent expenditure was raised to N2.616 trillion as against N2.468 trillion in 2014.[b]

The most clueless and profligate govt ever!! The cut capital projects budget for roads and infrastructure by N920B i.e 60% reduction and Increased their chop and settlement money by 6% from N2.468tn to N2.616tn.

During economic contraction or recession, govt should be spending on infrastructural projects to spur economic growth.
