It will, i use a quad core phone an ma phone kept getting hot while gaming and charging so i reduced to just 2 ever since then my battery has been on point and no excessive hotness anymore again

You can always increase the cores back for greater task

i think you will need to buy chromecast stick which is sold for $29.99 on amazon except your TV has an inbuilt chromecast support
