You're not wrong. The first thing I thought when I saw what she was wearing is that the Presidency needs a PR team. You can't announce austerity measures and grimly tell the people that they need to buckle down and make sacrifices to prepare for rough times... and then be walking around literally dripping in gold. It's bad for morale. Basic PR.

While some people may have castigated you on this thread, rest assured you won't be the only one to have such negative feelings about this picture, whether they choose to voice them or not.

I suppose you're used to absurdity hence you spew this rubbish. How does it need to be explained to you that the Nigerian constitution does not provide for office of the first lady? Therefore it is an illegality to have one.

The existence of this type of mockery of our constitution has caused Nigeria a lot of wastages which we need to stop immediately. It has also created more problems than solving anything, examples include the unnecessary meddling in the affairs of states politics by Mrs. Clueless.

So Buhari is perfectly correct on this. There will still be a First Lady but no official Office of the First Lady.

Let T.A Orji pay salaries and pensions o. The last salary my relatives received was October salary while some states in Nigeria are up to date with payment of salaries.

It's really sad when I drive my mum to the pensions office and see old people that hardly walk going in and out with gloomy faces.

The speech as you quoted it below didnt even go beyond a minute. The title is "Nkalari Ohuhu" not Ngalari as someone said above, it means 'Ohuhu Gold'

I could have go into much details on issue of the office of the first lady as regards to Buhari speech, but no time to waist.

Buhari should not allow his emotions and power back to north mentality to cripple his sense of reasoning while interviewing. The office may not be legally but in Nigeria standard and politics, its vital or we start voting bachelors into power.

There are alot offices that are not in our constitution but are very much important than many offices that areconstitutionally backed.
