Have you heard about a German company called delarue before ? This company has been producing currency for CBN and also supply 90 % of all note counting machines in all our commercial banks. All the note processing equipment s in all branches of CBN nations wide was supplied by the same company. So if u see German prime minister pix on our currency you should not be surprised

This is unbelievable. Though, I don't really belief the statement even after checking the website. But if that is true, I guess our leaders are senseless. Moreover, they have been joking with the future of Nigeria. We are saying this because, this is what we heard or saw, but what about what we neither hear nor saw.

May God Help Us in this Country.

Let's assume It's UYO stadium isn't it embarrassing for the federal government to claim it as one of It's achievements?

That's how exactly they tried to take credit for the control of Ebola epidemic. And the only thing i can remember the federal government deed was to show how to use some disinfectants on national TV while the Lagos state government was working vigorously to curtail the spread on the virus. Which afterward the federal government try push it down the troth of misinformed Nigerians that they were the brain behind the success.

No government in the world will claim such thing as achievement.
Dude if you know nothing you shut the hell up. You think the Lagos State government worked alone? Why has Fashola not come up to say the government worked alone. Do you know how the Minister of Health, kept working in hands with the Lagos State government? Do you know the personnels sent down to assist? You think you can sit in your homes and just write shit. The FG gave Lagos all the support it needed and where constantly intouch with personnela.

And to the OP, that stadium is not the Uyo stadium afreed but its definitely not the Allianz arena. Look closely, it was probably the proposed plan which was meant to look like the Allianz Arena. There are differences, nevertheless, it should be corrected.

I just made this one now. It points to www.nairaland.com.

Fine let me agree with you that any one can create a bar code for any organisation or event without permission or authorization from the proprietor or organizer of such programme/event undecided ( that self na something) but agreeing with u. But how does the bar code created by someone else without the necessary authority's permission manage to get on the nation's currency. Please reason with brain sir

1. It is MA. Or Ma'am. See how my username is MISSmeiya, not MISTERmeiya? Also, the little f means female.

2. Why do I have to spell out things on this website? Did I say the someone put the code on the currency without the government's knowledge? Or was I exclaiming that the FG contracted a foreign company to do something I did in two seconds on my mobile phone? Did you do reading comprehension in school?

Is only a low thinking person will misunderstand the content of that website, the website only showcased the nigeria of yesterday, today and probably the future, and not a sort of campaign ground for Mr. President. maybe the stadium was modelled after the one in question because of the available picture being that of the original design., however, the web master should ask for the right picture and put down the wrong one before it becomes identity theft.

Meanwhile, if BH was achievement, all the affected state governors would have claimed the glory.

Our own hypocrisy is even was than that of mr. President's associates.

You may have a valid point. However, Bhuari is an old change. He is the past at 72years old.
And I used to believe you were intelligent; what has age got to do with having a clue as to good governance, integrity, discipline and wisdom?

The Tunisians recently went to the polls and elected Beji Calid Essebsi who is 88 years old!!!

His defeated opponent, Moncef Marzouki, is under 70 years, younger than Nigeria's Muhammadu Buhari who is 72.

Are you saying the Tunisians know something you don't? huh

APContherun:
It is a an avoidable mistake, it's regretable but it is one we need to call the attention of the site administrators to so as to correct it.
On the Uyo stadium and the Ebola fight, your comment is even more regretable. Nigeria is not just about the Federal Govt, it's about Nigeria, federal, state and local govts. It's not just about Goodluck but also about Buhari, Sambo, Anyim, Fashola, Akpabio, Dankwanbo etc, it's not just about north, but also about the west and east so I don't see anything wrong with the picture of Uyo stadium, Eko Atlantic city, Dutse International airport, Tinapa or Obudu cattle ranch. The essence of the webpage is to showcase the history and evolution of Nigeria in pictures. Nigeria is everyone's project, dream, worry and fear not just FG/Jonathan's.
On the fight against Ebola, shouldn't you listen to people who know. The fight was a collective one which the President recognised and acknowledged. I never heard him claim victory for the FG but for Nigerians. When at the UNGA he used the more inclusive word "we" he was referring to Nigerians. Stop quit that line.
And I used to think you were intelligent? undecided

The buck stops at whose table?

The whole error lies with the clueless one

Just this morning, I got the opportunity to have a feel of the new ₦100 note. As a tech savvy individual, I decided to scan the bar code printed at the back of the new note. I was impressed at the cool use of technology as I was directed to the website of the new ₦100 note.

Going through the numerous photos on the web page, I came across a familiar picture. On a closer look, I realized that it was an aerial picture of the famous "Allianz Arena" stadium in Munich, Germany instead of the Akwa Ibom Stadium, Uyo.

The stadium is being paraded as an achievement of Nigerian government, showing the Nigeria of today. This misinformation is highly unintelligent and embarrassing.
