can u prove wat he spent?

please stop all these questioning. It's a common knowledge to those who are sincere that this regime represents looting, stealing and corruption. If I tell you now that over $35 billion dollars have been spent on electricity in Nigeria since the beginning of our democracy, you will ask me for document as well whereas you can as well check for the information if you really care to know.

He couldn't have done all that needed to be done in less than two years. Or could he?

And surely you can't say same of a GEJ who has had six years with the type of money available to him but could only come up with mediocre achievements. Though he excels in looting and insecurity which is the reason he has to be booted out come next year.

GMB 2015.
then let's compar according to length.in a year wat did gmb achieve compare to gejs one year.

God bless you even if you're still in PDP darkness.

That's why I insist that the emphasis should have been on Power Sector and Refineries in the first two years of GEJ's administration.
After that you can bring in any type of technology once power and refineries are in order.

But after almost 5 years of GEJ see the deception that is being peddled as development.

This is the exact replica of the train that passes through my house everyday making gbugugbugu sound in India and mind you, India is not Nigeria's mate when it comes to anything... When I say anything, I totally mean anything they beat us hands and leg down

There is a difference between locomotives and high speed trains. Even the U.S. Uses the same type of train that Nigeria uses now. There is no high speed train in the U.S. It is only recently that U.S. is trying to set up a link between Houston and Dallas at an estimated cost of 10 billion dollars.

The entire Budget of Nigerian is equivalent to the Budget of some small cities in the U. S. Maybe some homeowners association. Nigeria is not as rich as many think.

http://news.yahoo.com/long-delayed-u-high-speed-rail-plans-may-190219039--finance.html

It is incongruent to blame GEJ for not using high speed trains in Nigeria. They are very expensive and would sap the budget of Nigeria.

It seems like you are trying to say that GEJ shouldn't have started the construction from the beginning again right?

Ok lets assume that "YOU" the semi-illiterate decided to come back to school after spending ten years in Alaba Market,if you are serious, you will start 4rm JSS1 again or u can revise wot u were taught there since u are bound to forget them after 10 years.

Thats exactly wot GEJ is doing,he is starting from the scratch cos the existing facilities have been destroyed and they'v decayed.
This post right here sums it all up..Indeed hate and dishonesty deprive one of even the most simple logic..a system their past messiahs left for over twenty years to rot and decay..they now want to ride trains used in Russia? did Russia leave their railway system to decay for twenty years?

Buhari does not have any economic legacy much less trains. In 1983 the economy of Nigeria was in shambles with shortages of essential commodities. He has promised more voodoo economics including stabilizing oil prices. Say no to Buhari. GEJ till Buhari understands basic economic principles.

thats your answer there:

LRNZH:

That was GMB's best judgment at that time.
Remember, after Shagari in 1983, the economy was in shambles and they wanted us to borrow another $100Million or so to fund the Lagos Metroline.

GMB's focus was to stabilise the economy and weed out corruption first before grand capital projects will happen. This way we won't have to borrow to execute these capital projects.

GMB stabilized te economy and was getting there when Devil himself- IBB truncated all the good work in 1985.

Tell me why GEJ's godfather IBB didn't fund the Metroline in his 8 year tenure

I am showing the best of the each country.
You have seen the best of Nigeria. Compare them with the best of Nigeria which is DMU.

I am not impressed with GEJ's trains.
Theyre a rip off. Watch how this rail project will die an infant death because they're not planned woth the times we live in.

Also, theyre not integrated to other transport modes like the sea ports, inland ports.

I expected rail lines from Apapa port to the hinterland, dredging River Niger at Onitsha and putting a rail line from there to Aba.

I am sorry but it is disappointing.

Instead of this wasteful rail project that is not well thought out and integrated, GEJ should have focused on either the Power Sector or Refineries.

Honestly Nigeria would have been better off because these are the No. 1 problems with the country alongside Insecurity.
God bless u broh cos we are fond of akubes and okrikas

Let's see how the new trains being commissioned by the GEJ administration compare with trains currently in use from other parts of the world.

Feel free to post your pictures as well.

Can you also show us how the trains looked like during IBB, Abacha, Abdulsalam, Obasanjo and Yaradua's time. That will be a more appropriate comparison.

I prefer the Ghanaian ones sorry. It looks safer with wider windscreen and its neater. The GEJ one looks refurbished.
The Ghanaian one does not have elaborate engines taking over the locomotive itself, probably a more efficient design.
See how GEJ trains are all engines in the locomotive. Those are pollutants if you ask me.

When mediocre minds resort to lines such as "we must start from somewhere" I like to put it to them that statement is only viable if you're venturing into a virgin field but in a case where another country has laid the foundation and even improved on it, we've next to no excuse settling for mediocrity... Until Nigerians learn to demand the very best from our leaders, I don't see this country moving forward...

We must be grateful for any train at all. Not interested in getting Eurostar looking trains for now. Let us get mass movement of people going again. 4 years ago, there was no trains to speak of. If we can get one or two functional, it will improve the economy and reduce the spate of mortality in the skies and roads in 2015.

This is the mindset of progressives.
Anti-Progressives (read PDP) don't want hard questions to be asked.

Just like GEJ doesn' like debates except with D'Banj.

Finer than which trains? I don't know why u think dat train is fine. Interior wise am sure u cannot compare our carpenter seats to those frm other countries. Other trains r equipped wif state of the art technologies, u are here celebrating mediocrity. Mcheew! So Becos we starting frm d scratch it means we shud resort to mediocrity? If it's to build super structures to suit their greedy tastes like u have in Abuja, they'll gladly do so in a matter of months, but to do something dat wil last for the masses they won't.
