sorry LAPO don't pay 80k unless you're quoting before tax, staff welfare, pension and other deductions. But if its after the aforementioned then the pay for HND/B.Sc is 60k. I quote real values here. Cheers

Who Knows about GE salary scale

I dont but my friend with GE is jet setting around d world, so it must be good. The perks that comes with d job are good, if not the money itself.

Something we should realize is the there is a difference between salary and perks. Some companies might have high salaries but little on perks. And some might have little salary but high on perks. But in most cases the multinational firms are the ones with good perks and they also have good salaries too.

Let me give a couple of perks with good multinationals for their graduates in Nigeria:

1. Full medical insurance package for employee and children, including dental and eye care. A lot of companies give basic health insurance but few gives you full package, e.g. I can go ahead to whiten my teeth on insurance.

2. Full school fees coverage for all children, even if you children school abroad. This is common with multinational E&P and top notch Oil service firms.

3. Trainings/Working around the world.

5. Sponsored membership of clubs and associations. This includes both professional e.g. NIM, SPE, NSE, etc and social e.g. Ikoyi Club, Yoruba Tennis Club, Port Harcourt **** Club, Abuja **** Club, etc.

In essence, the benefit might out shoot the salary.

Any idea about the pay range?!
Re: Entry Level Salaries Of Companies In Nigeria by silvernus0: 11:33pm On Dec 29, 2014
YES THESE ARE REAL PAY STRUCTURES BUT THESE STRUCTURES HERE ARE BASICALLY FOR BSC HOLDERS

FOR ENTRY ND IN UBA EARNS BTW 60-80K
WHILE ENTRY BSC EARNS 145K

BUT THIS COULD BE MORE HIGHER DEPENDING ON YOUR WORK EXPERIENCE AND BARGAINING POWERS

THIS IS WHY MOST COYS THESE DAYS WANT TO EMPLOY MORE OF ND STAFF SO AS TO PAY LESSER(CHEAPER LABOUR)

Very true. You will get 43k per month during your 4 months training and at least 237k per month after training when you resume. My lil sister works there.

lmao! una dey shout stress and una no gree resign since all these years. Abegi Nairalanders wey dey find job go Diamond Bank, GTB, Union, First, Zenith etc continue your hustle and make sure you land the offer ( not contract o). No let anybody deceive you o! There's no too much stress anywhere( provided you are adequately rewarded).

After all, these bankers don't sleep in the office. As for me, I don't see any corporate job as too stressful provided I have access to 7-8 hours of sleep daily. I know what Bricklayers and Labourers go through( they are humans like you and I).

Nevertheless, anyone that can't cope with the stress for too long should work for 5-10years, save some millions and set up a business( mind you, you might have to work on Saturdays and Sundays as a businessman or woman)
Bro you talk sense.

Yeah, and you have to be very careful at the training school, don't be carried away. You must not score less than 65% in each of numerous courses, you can retake a failed course just once and you must pass it the second time. You also have to follow all instructions strictly particularly during exams because once you err, you would be automatically dismissed and that's the end, they dismiss people at the slightest misconduct and this is not the time to go start dating your classmates, you need concentration. You will enjoy the training, the meals, the fun, outings etc. If you score best in any of the courses, you will get a gift. There are fantastics prizes for overall 1st,2nd and 3rd positions. All the best to you!

Sure, Access pays more than GTB. The only bank that I know pays better than Access is Diamond bank but I don't have the precise figures for GTB.
