Oyedepo himself said some people are busy making the News while some are busy reading the News. And he's among the News makers. He said also he don't need anybody wada a member of Winners family or not to defend any of his criticisms. The more people curse you the more God blesses you. So why are you people(winners family) still answering people with little or no faith?. Is not worth it.

By the way, no part of the scripture has any private interpretation. Are you willing to learn from examples? I bet you didnt read that Acts 5:33-42 at all before quoting me, or did you?

But Bishop Oyedepo demanded that he was leading a not-for-profit religious organization, “but the commission determined that he was diverting funds to engage in a series of profitable ventures.”
David Oyedepo, who is considered to be Nigeria’s richest pastor and listed as the richest televangelists in the world, keeps a luxurious private jet and has several expensive cars, among many other amazing personal possessions.

sorry dear, i can't assume witht 1000, at least we have four sundays in a month, total offering per sunday is estimated 500 naira per 1 congregation. 500*4= 2,000 per month. then add atleast 5,000 tithe making up to 7,000 per congregation a month. 7,000*6m= 4.2e10. Thats what my phone calculator gave me as the anwser

The President of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, says the ministry has six million members in 147 nations across the world.

Oyedepo made the disclosure on Saturday at a breakfast meeting with members of Omu-Aran Government Secondary School Old Boys Association (OGSSOBA) at the Landmark University, Omu-Aran, Kwara.

Oyedepo, the Chancellor of Landmark and Covenant Universities and also a member of OGSSOBA, said that the figure was ascertained at the recent convention of the church.

He advised members of old boys association to rededicate themselves to arresting infrastructure decay in all colleges and institutions across the length and breadth of the country.

Oyedepo said the task of improving the facilities in schools had gone beyond the sole responsibility of government, urging the old boys to be partners in progress.

“No amount is too small or too big toward the growth, progress and development of the schools,” he said.
Mr Segun Adeniyi, the newly elected president of the association, described Oyedepo as a living legend of the nation’s education sector.
He said that Oyedepo remained a role model to both the current and old students of Government Secondary School in Omu-Aran.

Adeniyi appealed to all members of the association to identify with the aspiration of the school in order to make it a model among its peers.

He commended the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee, Alhaji Jibril Haruna, for successfully organising the election and giving the association a new constitution.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Adeniyi was elected the new president at the association’s annual general meeting held at the school’s “Hall of Fame” in Omu-Aran on Friday.

Haruna, who is the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Technology in Kwara, said he was grateful for the opportunity given to him to serve.

He also pledged total support to the new executive members which he urged to fully commence preparation for the celebration of the association’s 50th anniversary coming up on May, 2017.

Among the newly elected officers are Otunba Jide Adebayo of NAN as 1st National Vice President, Alhaji Bode Durotoye, 2nd National Vice President, Remi Afolayan, National Secretary-General and Mr Kayode Mathew, the Group News Editor, Vanguard Newspapers as Public Relations Officer.

Yes he is still a man of God just like any oda person created by the supreme being God. As for the 2015 stuff, i pity ur ignorance. According to Siddhartha Gautama who became The Buddha, 'have u also learn the secret from the river: that there is such thing as time'. The calender was human invention to know when to collect taxes from the people. B/4 1582, we were using the Julian calender (still in use in some countries) when the new yr begins with the spring equinox. The spring equinox falls b/w 20th-24th march and December used to be the 10th month(deca =10 in Latin, October the 8th month, September the 9th month etc).
In order for the for the church activity to fall on the time of council of Nicaea in 325AD, the then Catholic Pope Gregory the 13th deleted 10days from the Julian calender and proclaimed January 1st as the 1st day of the new yr and 31st december the last day. It took centuries b/4 many countries especially the orthodox and protestant churches accepted it for uniformity sake.
