I notice with disappointment, muslims avoiding to answer the questions in the OP. Instead, they are referring to the bible irrelevantly.

Imagine somebody walking straight to a non-muslim ordering him to accept islam and without educating him what islam is about, and the next thing is kill him if he refuses. What physical or spiritual sense does that make?

Is that killer (muslim) driven by love to save his victim from hell? Why did he kill him and send him to hell for which he wants him saved from?

These are the questions begging for answers.

It is the will of Allah. Allah doesn't have a son who can cancel his order. Maybe he will have to impregnate a human from the Caucasian race in the future and use the offspring as a means of canceling the words in the Quran, but that hasn't happened yet.

Now, you're asking yourself why would Allah do such a thing, why would he demand the death of apostates or non Muslims who don't pay Jizya? Well, I don't know. Allah ways cannot be questioned by mere human beings. Remember Jesus, as the father, ordered EXACTLY the same thing, and even WORSE in the very BIBLE. But Jesus, the father, was able to send Jesus the son, to cancel out the old order by means of a human blood sacrifice.

Allah doesn't have biological children or bipolar personalities to offer as a blood sacrifice to himself.

Where did you see Jesus recommending killing people of other faiths in the bible? Cite an example of Christians beheading people for refusing to convert to Christianity. There is a difference between Judaism and Christianity.

If your are not a religionist, what are you and what is your stake in religion that made talk on this thread?

Once again a Muslim quotes a text out of context. I don't know if its ignorance, lack of intellect or Taqiyya.

My dear let me explain, listen carefully, Jesus used PARABLES (as it was prophesied he would use in the old testament ), RHETORIC and he also used HYPERBOLES a lot to emphasis the seriousness of an issue. Get a dictionary and look up the means.

Thank you for quoting the verse 34 with 35 because it explains the proper context. Most atheists and Muslims avoid 35.
This is one of the verses Christ tells believers what to expect if we decide to follow him. And it is actually happening.
Muslims kill their family members if a member decides to leave Islam and become Christians, its in their sh'aria law. You know of the case in Sudan where a man reported his own sister for being a christain and she was sentenced to death. But as God would have it she is alive and well in the USA today. Even in Nigeria, in the time of the missionaries fathers disowned sons who abandoned serving their traditional deity and went to church. Even communists killed whole families for their believe in Christ.
The use of the word "sword" is clearly a metaphor. And just as the verse proclaimed their is no peace on earth because the kingdom is yet to come.

what denominations you belong? There is no genocide in the bible unless you are in support of sacrificing babies to gods. The amalakite first attack israel when they are coming out from Egypt.
