You need to understand something about the Yoruba psyche.

There is a desire to be seen as relevant in Nigeria that they will do anything to achieve that -even a Pastor will leave his "divine calling" to do houseboy for an Hausa man. Yorubas will do anything and everything to look relevant. If you want to try it you can play some mind games for these people anywhere and see how low they will stoop to win your favour.

Remember how Gowon cowed them into fighting against Biafra and how Abacha cowed a good number of prominent Yorubas into betraying MKO Abiola? You never see anything.

They hate GEJ because they feel sidelined ( especially over the CBN governorship - Sarah Alade vs Godwin Emefiele ) and because they feel he sympathizes with their perceived enemies, the IGBOS . Thus their intense hatred for the man GEJ.

Only a few reasonable Yorubas have risen above this mental cage and see life from a more mature perspective.

This road show is beginning to get on my nerves. Thank heaven am not partisan. What policies and plans of action have they articulated ? I have not seen any. The duo should know that this contest is not Lagos state governorship contest. Lagos is just one out of 36 states. They should not be deceived by hypes on the social media. Apc need a lot of work to do. Anyway, When I look at it deeper,I see in these apc/pdp issues as a contest of three major ethnic groups trying to outsmart one another in the struggle for power.
