Seven Boko Haram suspects were reportedly killed December 29 when an explosive hidden in a Toyota pick-up van had gone off before they reached the Biu market, Borno State. A security source who pleaded for anonymity made this known Tuesday adding that the insurgents allegedly planned to sneak into the market and detonate the Improvised Explosives Devices (IEDs) there. “As you know, it is harvest time and people are taking their farm produce to the market; but thank God, the bomb exploded before they could get to the market.”http://www.naij.com/351642-7-boko-haram-members-dead-as-bomb-detonated-in-the-car.html |
