I was charged #97. Desc: SI TRANSACTION (DIFFERENT CUSTOMERS). I saw the alert and I assumed it was a transaction I did. Now that you brought it up, I will try and find out.

Na wa oh and to think I wanted to open an account with them. This is underground stealing. The complaints I've been reading about GTB is getting too much. I better remain with my Firstbank. At least for every debit alert I get on my FBN account, there's always a clear and concise explanation eg withholding tax, SMS alert etc.

I was charged 48 Naira, (Different Customer) didn't complain much cos tis small amt of money, but with this I think I gotta ensure I enquire frm 'em what this means

The deduction shd be becose u used ur atm card in anoanorther bank more than 3 times. If u use ur atm in another bank 3 times in a month u are safe bt after the third time u will be charged. I guess thats it cos i gt thesame deduction n made a report n thats wat i was told..

Its been said before that card maintainace now has a fee. Once u ve a card if or not u activate it,it wld be maintained.

Why will GTB be charging thousands on my current Acc for online purchases

I started buying from aliexpress in November, by month end I was charged above #4000

End of December, I was charged #3k plus

I have savings Acc with them but I am not allowed to make transactions on it. Anytime I want to make payment and the money is in savings, aliexpress will tell me no sufficient fund until I transfer to current.

I can't continue to share my profit with GTB since they didn't give my a penny to start my business

People said it is because it was the current I first opened

I am thinking of getting another account in different bank preferably savings to do my business transactions

It is the amount they charge for the text massage which you accept. That's why it is of importance to read the paper before signing to avoid such things. Beside when you make a request for ATM they charge you 1000; so I guess is the massage they sent and 65 naira after ATM withdrawals.
