Buhari support base in the region is with the poor masses in the region ( talakawwa), such support may be as a result of ethno-religious sentiments but Buhari is a great man.

yes, but you should know that the electorates are of different mentality in the north and the south. If buhari is a southerner,his support base will be less than he currently has now among the northern masses,he has a lot to prove in the south than in the north.
The rich in the north find it easy into their masses heart because very little(very very little) can satisfy them,coupled with the religious consideration(and you know how its our opium).

I hate hypocrisy. It sucks.

We live in the digital age, there are videos of Buhari's campaigns in the North and what he has been saying. even if it is in Hausa language am sure there are honest translators who can help.

Like I said, if Buhari is to do what Jonathan does weekly in the churches and with crazy celebrity obsessed pastors in mosques with crazy imams all hail will break loose.
Now, in reality, who is the real religious zealot or bigot?

Bros, your above logic exemplifies the clear difference between Igbo logic and Yourba logic on Buhari. From the Igbo side, is a common and collective position that both Buhari and Jonathan have records they are running on. Both records have to be examined by unbiased, reputable teams of experts, from policy pronouncements from each individual, their respective ideological lining if they have any, but most importantly, the critical issue of complete restructuring of Nigeria.

So, Sule lamido was only exhibiting the venomous hatred and vile desperate mischief that a corrupt panicky character like him is expected to spit as the electoral victory of the general is becoming imminent.

And you do not also seem to understand that when it comes to protecting their self-centred interests, the corrupt Nigerian elite easily jettison all their ethnic, religious and regional differences and work in amazing unity and harmony!

Hence, Sule Lamido would prefer to see an Ibori, an Alamieyeseigha, an Nzerebe, a Bode George, or even a Tompolo, as the next president rather than a Buhari who would not allow not allow business as usual for the likes of Sule Lamido - and whether they are Hausa-Fulani Muslim Northerners would not matter.
