believe me ,tinubu and sw apc governors will focus all their resources in winning their states.it is obvious majority of sw states are not happy with these apc govs.why will they fund buhari campaign when it is obvious he will lose?at the end of the day ,buhari campaign team will be starved of needed funds to campaign with. I keep believing the notion that tinubu and co is actually setting up buhari to lose.
are you in the south west state , they dont care if the govt funds buhari .they south west states are happy they are seeing developments.

One of your many senseless moves was to put up this write up.

One of your many senseless moves was to call somebody older than you senseless, your dad did not train you well.

One of your many senseless moves was to say he is dancing to the gallery, common sense should tell you every votes counts, olamide's own inclusive.

One of your many senseless moves was to say his association with Celebs does not amounts to anything. You will be surprised how many voters look up to Annie Macauley and Olamide.

One of your many senseless moves was to mention America. Nigeria is in West Africa and your comparison makes no sense, and even in that America. Celebrities host fund raising for the President, with him in attendance.

One of your many senseless moves is to underestimate the determination of Nigerian's to get rid of GEJ while Voting Buhari in.

One of your many senseless moves was to think your opinion matters. You can Vote PDP and the other 169 Million people will Vote Buhari.

One of your many senseless moves was to think Campaign proper has started. Wait until the New Year.

One of your many senseless moves would be to reply to my post.

Buhari and Osinbajo till 2030.
This post just made my day.

Firstly, I don't state my views to impress people. I state my views based on my own interpretation. I know many are interpreting me as someone who wants to be on the good books of everybody. But the fact remains that I am my own person, you may agree or disagree with me but insinuating that I was shallow and trying to be pleasing is inappropriate. If I don't state my opinion just to adopt another that I don't subscribe to, I do myself and humanity a big disfavor. When Muhammadu Buhari disagreed with ANPP as regards the Government of National Unity by Yaradua in 2007, people called him names- but it was his position. Gbawe, I believe that criticism should be welcomed for improvement as long as it isn't hypocritical. I also believe that my worst critic should be my[ associates. I don't believe in "Yes Sir" syndrome. I never expected this, but thank you!
Gbawe:
I totally agree with you and I really do not understand Barcanista's point here at all. Trying to be popular and all things to all men can often make you grant concessions when such are not meritoriously warranted and indeed even weaken what/who you stand for to the advantages of vipers and Vultures who wish Nigeria to remain as it is. These TANdroids have no point at all with their facetious and idiotic criticism of how Osinbajo chooses to go about engaging with Nigerians. They have no intentions of voting GMB/Osinbajo anyway and will still refuse to do so if their god directs them to !!!! Indeed this is not the first time I have personally pointed out to Barcanista that these folks can never see anything good in what team GMB/Osinbajo say and/or do anyway!!!!

I am really disappointed Barcanista said what is quoted below which sounds entirely like the utterance of someone playing to the gallery since it fails the test of objective and logical criticism.

Barcanista, with the above, is simply agreeing with all the TAndroids and their totally inane criticism. Osinbajo emerged VP literally 14 days ago and any objective person should know that this is only the start point of his own campaign strategy. Is Barcanista privy to the entirety of Osinbajo's comprehensive campaign plans from now till Feb 12 i.e the last day INEC sanctions for GMB and Osinbajo to 'sell' themselves? Why then is Barcanista eager to criticise myopically rather than support his corner and wait for the many other 'overdrive' campaign strategy team GMB/Osinbajo will be rolling out over the next 6 weeks that will show Nigerians many pioneering and innovative measures of a team really eager to engage the masses and show they, more than others, mean best for them?

I really don't understand Barcanista's criticism which is hasty, without merit whatsoever and appears an attempt to be liked by all sides when such is not possible in the pursuit of a better Nigeria which will surely pit one against dark-minded and even evil folks determined to maintain the vile status quo our people labour under daily.

Is Osinbajo done? Do we not have around 6 weeks of active campaigning to go? What if he visits orphanages and schools today? I bet you will turn round to ask why he has not visited the ordinary men and women on BRT buses and the suffering masses forced to hawk products under the hot Sun. You guys are incorrigible and only insecure APC supporters will take your mischievous, unobjective and malevolent criticism seriously. You do not know a man's complete plan yet you comment forcefully and negatively about the order in which he should do things. What does that make you as a person?

I only pity APC supporters and Nigerians who do not know how darkly malevolent PDP fans are. They never stick to selling GEJ these days and fully concentrate on demonizing APC, GMB and Osinbajo alone. What does this tell smart Nigerians desirous of a great nation if not that evil folks wishing for a retention of the vile status quo have now embraced the oldest trick in the book which is to badmouth the opposition while slyly and deceitfully moving attention and discussions away from the ultra-failed incumbent who did absolutely nothing but move Nigeria backwards severely over 5 years? You people are fooling no one and you are certainly not fooling those on the ground who know where the shoe pinches.

this is not about christainity or not , if you wanna debate that go to the religion section . he was chosen as a vp because he is a christain and "sociable" person .The sociable part of him is what he is displaying . it may not be fine with your own religious doctrine .politics is not based on religion or social class . has he said anywhere that he would not visit the ineligible voters , why jump into conclusion for him . learn to use the right words and not just because you heard it somewhere . I am referring to the myopic word. in the mean time Osibanjo has not asked anyone to vote him because he is a pastor , has he . Nigerians are not voting for the next man of God or man of a particular church , they are voting for the next VP get that clear.

which number of votes are you talking about? We have been brainwashed by the APC propaganda machine that lagos is 99% for APC. We have been told that the 6 million lagos votes are already in APC bag. Do u wonder why Osinbanjo is busy campaigning from ward to ward in lagos which APC said they have conquered? Why wasting his time campaigning in his own conquered territory? Why not visiting other southwestern states like Ondo and ekiti? Why not going to campaign in PDP strongholds like enugu?
I think you have provided some food for thoughts here which the APC campaign strategists should look into.

The gist of your post is that although the STYLE of the Prof's campaign may be good and effective, its SCOPE should be widened, which makes a lot of sense to me - even though you seem to be a PDP supporter.

As I have said already, your criticism is not meritorious or logical. That is the bottom line without us engaging in a needless back-and-forth that gets us nowhere. Answer me honestly. Do you know Osinbajo's entire campaign strategy? If the answer is no, then why criticise what he has done already, after only two weeks as VP candidate to Buhari, when you are not privy to his comprehensive campaign plans for the next 6 weeks? If he does what you want to see tomorrow will you now apologise retroactively when you should have simply being patient? Why not wait patiently to see what unravels over even the next two weeks and then contribute objective criticism of what you would like to see? Read above to see someone say Osinbajo should have visited Orphanages and Schools to note that everyone will have an opinion of how things must be done. If things are not doen their way then they shout their condemnations. This is how Nigerians are.

We all know it is not possible to please everyone yet what is sure is that we should at least be willing to give those we have decided to support, because we believe them to be better than others, the benefit of the doubt. You appear unwilling to do this and merely waded in with entirely unobjective and indefensible criticism which seems an effort to play to the gallery. Take time to think things through. Find out,if you can, the plans the APC has for engaging Nigerians, at all levels, over the next few weeks before you join deceitul TANdroids to be insisting on what you must see, when you must see it and in which order this must be done. How many of us sit on PDP threads to be telling them what GEJ and Sambo must do? It is your opinion and you are entitled to it, but I have noticed a new strategy you are using. It is as if you want to come across as fair in your comments and want to create a notion that you have balanced views on issues. This strategy is good but do not let it becloud your judgement.

I have 2 issues with your post....

1. I don't know why any person will criticize his pictures with fellow Nigerians. The fact is selfies and pictures with smart phones are a reality of this generation, it is what young people do and enjoy- as you would know they form the majority of voters as well. The internet is a strong tool to win the hearts and minds of voters. You are an APC supporter so you should know that the general feeling is that Buhari is stern, rigid and a disciplinarian. Oshibajo is there to balance that perception. Oshibajo is fun, friendly, intelligent and younger.

2. Let us be clear, the day Prof Oshibajo was nominated as a VP candidate of APC, he stopped being just the pastor of Redeem, he is now a prospective VP to all Nigerians, whether Christian, Muslim, pagan, atheist etc. If these so called Christians are unhappy with his association with other Nigerians that they deem 'sinful', they can shove their fundamentalist crap down their pfucking throat.

Will these so called 'Christian voters' object to his visit to the Muslim Northerners in Obalende?

It is good to criticize and provide balanced opinions but let us do it with sincerity.
There is this thing called misjudgement. Yoi started by saying I like to please both sides to appear as objective. On the contrary, I make known my position as to my interpretation aÑd feelings without recourse to pleasing either the PDP or APC but my conscience. Whether I get likes or bashing, I accept it but it won't change my views except I am convinced of changing it.

I mentioned in my post that Political popularity is different from celebrity popularity. Your number one is purely celebrity popularity but may not really translate to vote. It is good, however, what causes them to vote for you is when they are convinced of your ability and have that belief in you. This is beyond just selfies. What I mean is that when they get your message and align to it.

@ number 2: one of the reasons Osinbajo was nominated is because of religious balance. Religiously, his primary constituency is the church, of which he is a leader. That gives him more responsibilities. His actions and inactions could bring closer or drive out some Christian voters. This is the key! Meeting people is not against the christian ethics, but attending shows is one thing they preach against. He met the muslims in their houses in obalende and not inside the mosque during a jumaat prayer. Most Nigerians living in Nigeria are hypocritical when it comes to religion, they expect the religious leader to hold on to a certain ethics that they themselves don't hold in practice. The vote of every group counts whether they are right in their judgement or not. This is politics.

This is where you get it wrong! It is not about "me", it is about the electorates. You campaign to win more while maintaining your base, you don't campaign to lose a section of your base(no matter how little) because you want to gain somewhere. Lemme state this Àgain, I am not playing tÓ any gallery but I will leave you to your judgement. You said something which I will quote..
If things are not doen their way then they shout their condemnations. This is how Nigerians are.
Rightly, you know that this is how Nigerians are, yet you think it is irrelevant? Bros, politics is local. The same hypocritical Nigerians are the ONLY people that can make you President or vice. Whether they are logical or not is a different case. My point is the campaign should align to what appeals to every Nigerians, pass your message to them, get them convinced of your plans and ultimately get their votes.

I won't commend on the inappropriate words that you employed anyway. Again, thank you!

Celebrities and market people are human too. Osinbajo can meet with celibrities who have followers to get people to vote. Obama did the same thing in the U.S. I saw on TV when Obama was meeting Jay Z, Alicia keys, Beyoncé, Eva Longoria, Usher, Jay master Flex and many other celibrities. Those celebrities were able to convince millions of young people to register and vote.
You have a point, but the Nigerian equivalent of Obama, is not Osinbajo, but Buhari. If you think this is something presidential candidate should do, then we can see that Buhari is not doing it.

Is it because he feels it is beneath him, or that the young voters that own the votes he is after can not relate to him? Or even vice versa.

Is it because he may loose northern support if he is seen hob-nobbing with these "celebs" and therefore "endorsing" their lifestyles?

It may even be that his military background may be preventing him from feeling comfortable among 'civilians' at the same level as they are, rather than on a podium above them, riling them up.

This says more about the current APC presidential candidate than it does Osinbajo imho.
