Earlier today two children were rushed to an hospital all because they were happy throwing bangers or knock outs, it turned out to be a sad new year for them when it exploded right in their hands. The first boy was 8years old while the other was 7years old. They were not actually together, two separate incidents. I guess it's no more banger be that

Bangers have been causing this kind of injuries but people wont just listen, I dont know who imports this nonsense... the boy in the first pic, the thumb is blistering already, its gone...dead.

I remember when we were younger( my younger sister and I), were throwing knockouts on new year morning, it was a 3 sound stick, I lit it and only 2 sounds went off, I then picked the remainder and gave my lil sis to hold while I torch it again to make sure the 3rd sound didn't go to waste(as a smartie wey I be na ), omo na him I light the thing o, the next thing I heard was "kpa" for my sister hand before she could throw it away, the thing injured her badly and the sounds from the beat wey my Aunty give me that day was louder/clearer than beats by Dre , the most painful thing was being accused of wickedness, as if I knew the thing go blow for my sister hand , the woman was just saying "why didn't you holdi t and let mama light it instead" shuo! I was protecting her as I didn't want her playing with match sticks, how couldn't my aunt understand that?

Anyways, ever since that day, I ended my romance with knockouts, I never knew that thing was dangerous till I almost bombed my priceless sister with it.

Sorry to the little boys, I hope they heal perfectly, we(me especially) are lucky mama still has ten fingers.

This is a very sad thing to look at not to talk of the graphic injuries those poor little kids sustained, God will grant them relief at this painful time.

Well, it is a good lesson for them because most of the kids fail to understand the danger of these banger they play with.I could remember a time I ran into some group of kids and adults throwing banger and I parked, came down to advise them not to throw the bangers with them, I was surprised that their parents stood up to challenge me why I should tell their kids not to throw banger that it was a festive period.I let them be and I hope more of them get messed up same way these kids got messed up so that by the time they grow with the scare, they will now have to know what to tell their children.

Government keep warning parents not to allow their wards be throwing festive explosives like this, and you find our that most of their parents even follow them to be committing same offence.

If this particular case can be taken to places like media houses= Channels TV and others, better.

Oga Banger is very dangerous o, while my sister's injury wasn't this bad, it was scary at the time.

Are their parents very stupid and foolish for allowing them play with it. I believe its written KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN. But some phucking parents think they are smarter than the manufacturers.
