okay what of the free ticket distribution prior to the service? Bro don't paint it any how,its called extortion! Am a very strong follower of Pastor Chris! I follow his teachings but on this one? I will SAY its extortion

Does the church have any intention to pay tax from the proceed of the service?

Bro I beg to differ,they werent sent away,they were only directed to a nearby branch to view it,as Paul says "let there be order",people that got tickets have to get seats they got the tickets for..if he/she came for the service,whats bad in viewing it on a projector?...if only you know how "crazy" and desirous for souls we are in Christ Embassy

What's the need for a ticket? Is it to Heaven? Or is the Church now a viewing centre? Its wrong, its wrong! How do you save a soul by discriminating! Its not done.

Even if the church prefers his already saved members to partake in a particular service, gate pass should have been given to them at no cost and they will have the privilege of going in first.

IMO opinion I can't blame them. ..rather I blame the gullible nut heads that are thronging to the church and paying their hard earned monies. What happened to churches around their neighbourhoods or hooking up to Bible believing churches online or simply holding a prayer with your family at home in the comfort of your own home? God is omnipresent so HE is right there where 2 or more people are gathered in His Name.

I know many will call for the head of pastor Chris,but let us look at it from the other angle,what probably the action of Pastor Chris is to cut down the population of worshipers that wanted to gain access to the venue.I believe if the story is true,the reason might be that they simply avoided calamity due to overcrowding.You know nigerians love crossover service.Even those who did not attend a single service that year will show up during cross over service.So let us not rule out the possibility of this completely.

Good question! They ought to pay tax returns to Lagos state government. The church should be locked if they fail to remit the tax from proceeds of the service.
