You are very correct, and the reason i know this is that 7.5yrs ago Buhari will not have visited Akwa Ibom State for any campaign. because there would have been no airport one of the best in the country and one of the very few with Night landing operational capacity in the country with an MRO and second longest runway in the country built by PDP state government. buhari would not have risked driving through ogoni land to Akwa Ibom by road.
Buhari campaign is a beneficiary of the PDP Akpabio uncommon transformation. he landed that airport and drove for 45mins from the airport to UYO LGA stadium on dualized nylon roads with no portholes.
Thats why he was speechless and did not know what to promise Akwa Ibom people during his address because the uncommon transformation overwhelmed him.

Thereby making our state able to supply adequate gas to fire our Ibom Power plant Alscon and also supply gas to the IPP in calabar and Unicem in calabar.

The PDP administration has instituted free amd compulsory education in the state and has built 4000 classroom blocks in 7 yrs and has also built a bi- campus state university that will graduate its first set 2015. and the FG has also established a federal Polytechnic in Akwa Ibom State.

The brand new Akwa Ibom international Airport is already functional and received the APC leaders Aircrafts when they came calling, The Ibaka deep seaport And Export processing zone is on course having recently passed all the FG evaluation and economic viability test and is set to be approved by the FEC for funding

If you taught that the job of govt is to by you food and give you pocket money you are very wrong. govt provides infrastructure which PDP has done in AKS. Its your job to leverage on the opportunities provided by this infrastructures.
There is free education in Akwa Ibom and the new university and federal polytechnic provides more avenue for you to get education which were not available just 5 yrs ago avail yourself of this opportunity.

@OP, if the FG had put in the same effort that Akpabio put into governance, i doubt if Buhari himself will be contesting for President. South South is pdp's main hope for the presidential election and akwa ibom is the leading light for pdp. However, opposition will still make attempt to woo them, that is normal. What is abnormal is the FG victimizing opposition states, neglecting them, delaying and frustrating their allocation, and promising to develop them on condition that they vote for pdp.

As at d time buhari and apc got to the venue, the truck was still bringing in plastic chairs for people to sit- this goes to show the event was yet to start when buhari arrived. As the event progressed, i guess u saw how the crowd 'swelled'. The event , in my view was done in a rush, hence, the way u saw it at d begining of the rally. From there, they headed to calabar. And in calabar, it took them 5hr to organise for his arrival- it was not planned to hold, but they went ahead with it.

As at d time buhari and apc got to the venue, the truck was still bringing in plastic chairs for people to sit- this goes to show the event was yet to start when buhari arrived. As the event progressed, i guess u saw how the crowd 'swelled'. The event , in my view was done in a rush, hence, the way u saw it at d begining of the rally. From there, they headed to calabar. And in calabar, it took them 5hr to organise for his arrival- it was not planned to hold, but they went ahead with it.

Stop excusing failure, the event was a huge flop.
