If we follow sequence of events, Bhuari is probably hidden something or not telling the truth. I think it is pure dishonesty on the part of Bhuari (because his handlers are now claiming it was destroyed by the military? really? Why didn't he say so all this why in his affidavit, so that a copy on military board will suffice) It is the constitution that demands it, oh I forgot Bhuari is a coupist, he doesn't follow the constitution or is a Fulani Born to rule, how dare anybody ask for his school certificate after all he has been a military head of state before ( he didn't need a school certificate then since he has guns)

In 2003, 2007 , 2011 and in 2015 Bhuari kept swearing to an affidavit that his certificates are with the Secretary of the Military board.

Questions:

1. Are they the originals with the Military board, and what was the originals doing with the Military board? Is it the same for all Army officers?

2.Why did he not Just say the originals are lost like SAMBO's were lost in fire?

3. Is there something unpalatable in the certificate that he seek to hide, like he failed most of the subjects but that he was promoted 'on federal character'

The failure to be honest is more damaging than what is or may not be in the certificate. It is always also an indication that he is not different from all other politicians.

My own opinion and conclusion is that Bhuari is a power hungry person and have no respect for the people or the constitution. Once a coupist criminal, always one, nothing has change and nothing will at 72 years old.

He probably burnt them himself as part of sympathy for boko haram ideologies!

because his certificate was not damaged! He simply has no certificate to show. The army hierarchy use to cover him up, but since GEJ retired most of those Northern generals and allowed more people from other tribes to rise up the rank, his backside has been exposed!

He can't. The truth is, Buhari either has no certificate or he used a fake certificate to enter the NA.

If he has no certificate and then says it is damaged, he is digging himself even more into his lies because he can simple get the record from his sch or waec. The question, why has he not done that?

If he used fake or forged certificate, he would be shooting himself in the foot if he applies for it and it is released by the NA and would be a liar and forger because the result would be verified by the examination body. That is where shyte really hits the fan.

Buhari was drafted into the NA on quota system and may not have presented anything, even if he had F9 throughout his result, it now questions the integrity of the NA.
Means while student from the south are told they must meet a certain requirement to be accepted into the NA while people like Buhari enter regardless of having result.

If Buhari has been managing a business and has been successful then we can say certificate does not matter, but this has just been there waiting for elections every 4yrs and feels that he is born to rule and must rule!

Infact he may well sound like wasc/Gcse holder but he has shown those certificate. The wasc is all that is required by law. Bhuari should get a copy after nearly 20 years of contesting for elections.

I wonder why an adult, a grand father should choose to embarrassed himself this way, is military constitution superior to that of Federal Republic of Nigeria? What is this whole issue of being a prefect or the Secretary military board being in custody of certificate or military constitution in democracy? What are we even talking about? I think during Gen Buhari's tenure as the head of state, there was one Tunde Idiagbon who played a very vital role in the war against indiscipline.
