LogicPower:GEJ has done a lot in the North 1). Education: The establishment of 9 federal universities most of them in the North and the 200 Almajiri schools established all over the North is a brilliant strategy to reduce the over 10million out of school kids in Nigeria who are mostly from the North. BH thrives there because of the Almajiris system that ensures the availability of several street kids that are easy prey of the nafarious characters that sponsor violence in the region. This administration is the only one that has deemed it fir to address the root cause of the problem by giving this street kids an oppurtunity of an education that can change their future rather than encourage the barbaric practices. 2). Airport: Under jonathan many airports in the north has been renovated and repositioned to better serve the people, Jos airport, kano, kaduna, yola etc have all been refurbished these facilities were abandoned by previous administration. GEJ has also made it easy for state government in the north to build and operate their own airport hence States like Jigawa, Kebbi, bauchi have built and commissioned spanking new airport for their citizens. 3) Railways : Lagos - kano trains are now functional, a railway that was abandoned for 3 decades has been reactivated by GEJ. the port harcourt - maiduguri railway is undreway and trains are running fro PH to Enugu as we speak and will run from PH to Maidugri before the end of the year. Abuja Light rail is at an advanced staage of construction. Abuja - Kaduna standard rail line has been completed and is awaiting the arrival of coaches that will begin the passenger service the First quarter of 2015. the warri to ajaokuta standard rail is also complete and awaiting the arrival of coaches for passenger service to commence. The railways will ensure that the agricultural produce in the north will easily get to the areas of demand in the south and will also arrive the seaport for onward export to foreign countries thereby improving the lives of the farmers in the North. 4) Agriculture : This administration has taken the bull by the horn by removing the corruption in fertilizer procurement and seedlings procurement in Agricultural sector in this country, thereby ensuring that farmers get their inputs on time, fertilizer and seedlings are getting to farmers that need it and not to corrupt politicians as before, and today Nigeria is almost self sufficient in rice production, No 1 in the world in cassava production. paddy rice pyramids are back in the north. Tomatoes processing plants are being set up in the north to check loss in harvest and cargo facilities are being built in airports in the north to export our perishable veggies. This is just to mention but a few of what this government has done for the North, GEJ has substance to campaign in the north and the masses and people in the north are feeling the FG impacts there Despite the current politically motivated violence that has permeated the region, the only people who are mad at GEJ are the 'born to rule' peeps who see nothing good in any leader that is not a northerner. They will be taught a valuable lesson in 2015. |

TunjiMsp:Thats the problem weve had too many illiterate presidents from gowan to obj to buhari to buhari to ibb to abdulsalam to abacha etc.Its now time to vote for educated and articulate people that understand networking with other smart people. Gej brought Akinwumi who is revolutionizing agriculture in nigeria, Aganga who is doing wonders with trade and industralizing Nigeria etc. Its now time to say No to "Dog ate my certificate" Illiterate generals. |

abacusCm:How is he suffering? Does he looks like an almajiri or does he resembles someone that needs an almajiri's system of rulership where u become a begger till dead? Take a moment and search ur conscience, then ask urself,"what really has buhari to over"? He keeps hammering on agriculture and columbite as natural resources, pls is that what he intends growing nigeria economy with? I'm yet to hear any killer point from ur lord-buhari. |
