Please, share this anywhere you can; I'll share this with all the email addresses of Zenith & Sterling Banks, including the top officials there. This is your contribution if you want this guy stopped.

You're right, Jaydee87. That's the purpose of this awareness (for him to go underground). When he plans a major hit, the right people will hit him offline. He can't go scot-free again; his act is a disgrace to Nigeria.

Can you do me a favour?

if its within my capacity I will gladly help..

[color=#000033]Yemi2Plus,

I tried it via Opera Mini and it didn't work just like you said. Google Chrome will work though; kindly try that.

Please be warned, as he has other aliases on other social media sites. The following are a list of people he has duped/attempted to dupe:
1) Jimmy4x.
2) Techmart.

Or used their names to dupe others:
1) Michael (Mikky on Technology Market).
2) Specuit (Specuit Cargo on Technology Market).
You realize that people will think these people are accomplices of the scammer, right? Since you provided no details about the scams.

Oga Seun, please, ban this user ichapi55, this account uses a clone e-mail address belonging to Mikkyangel to send random messages to other members. If you doubt me, you can check the e-mail address he used in signing-up.

Thanks!

Reason dis won't make FP easily
It could be a bad market for
Nairaland.
It will look like demarketing of nairaland.

this guy is a useless beast who reads all thread. If we post ideas here walahi he will just find a way round it.
I once tracked him but my sources told me he is in warri & he doesn't withdraw in the banking hall
moreover his account is always zero which means he withdraws immediately
What help can banks offer? They ask for people with proofs to pour in their complain to headquarters
This guy has a loophole which i biliv if anybody who can decipher my explanation above could guess to trap the thief
The banks can do a lot if they wish to help. All they need to do is to 'flag' his account. This is an internal system that allows him to receive funds into the account but does not allow him make a withdrawal without approval of the bank's managers, who will conduct detailed investigations before authorising the withdrawal. sad If they are convinced that the money got into his account via a scam, they will notify the Anti-Fraud unit of the police force. But very few banks are willing to do this. There needs to be a sustained activity to get them to enforce such measures.

It also prevents him from making withdrawals via ATM or internet platforms, once the account is under surveillance. undecided

this thread is a must read for all Internet users. We should do more of enlightening people to be smarter than Scammers because as long as evil exist in the world, there will always be Scammers. The only way we can subdue them is to always be a step ahead.

I hope this will help a lot of people

since the guy has been identified. I dont think its a big deal to catch him henceforth. The banks are usually complacent in such matters.
here is my suggestion (even if he is reading this thread, he cant evade this one.) His friends and family member are on his Facebook friends list, even if he deactivates his account. theirs would still be active. Go after them with the c.i.d, they would provide him in whatever way. I have dealt with a similar scammer on nairaland and caught the bastard

I usually don't comment on threads but my attention was called to this by someone on here and I can assure you all here we are on this case.
Kudos to Bizbloke the OP for creating this thread and others with their contributions.
As for the suggesstion above its ineffective and its like setting a house ablaze to kill one rat in the sense that people on social medias might be just aquintances or distant relatives.
The first most effective tool is first avoid beeing a victim of scam by creating the awearness which is what the OP did.
To the scammer WE ARE TRACKING YOU DOWN VERY SOON.

Everyone should read this too please

So, admins, do the needful.

BizBloke:
We would like to announce that this man: Emmanuel Awaritete has been confirmed to be a fraudster/goes about his actions with these names.

His method of operation is by email contact where he uses scarcity or time constraints to lead unsuspecting members of the Nairaland public towards paying their hard earned funds to him. His MO involves using a name from the business person's name and then, he adds A. Emmanuel where A. is for Awaritete.

For instance, on MikkyAngel's thread, he used Michael (MikkyAngel's name) A. Awaritete. On my company's, he used Specuit A. Emmanuel. A simple explanation for why he does this is because the bank will likely correct the name each and everytime someone writes any of his chosen names.

3) justi4jesu

If you've an idea to nail this guy, just type so. Don't bother using your funds if you feel it's much of an expense (gladly, I'll use mine so that we achieve something). If you can spare 5-10 minutes to make a report to the following banks, here are the Customer Care Details:
