those that didn't get hostels, I guess u weren't lucky., some peeps got hostels...during the balloting.. for freshers and for returning students, I don't really know,.

Nah, wasnt an error. the people that registered it in first semester during my time went back to remove it. I did it in second semester. If you go around school now, you'll even see the results there.

thats why you have a course adviser. Go and meet him. He's the one that will tell you what to register. If you make a mistake, there is a time you'll be able to change it though. That will be later.

Actually, some courses have been interchanged. So courses registered for 2nd semester last year may have been assigned to 1st semester this session. It depends on your department. Please visit your department to get the list of new courses to avoid making errors in your course registration. Don't rely on your handout or prospectus. Things change and have changed.
