Congrats! What were the weapons available to the terrorist then? Do they have tanks? Do they have assorted rifles ? Do they have Anti-aircraft? Do they have International backing? How large are their followers? What were their ideology then? How many men in the military are supporting their ideology ? Does it have any religion colorations? Firefire:it is quite appalling to see people making excuses for ineptitude, it makes me feel like crying , because I groan at d insensitivity of my countrymen, sire, do you think they were not sophisticated then , n it took them , about 2 regimes B4 they were Crushed?(roughly about 4 yrs) if u see what ur fellow countrymen re suffering, in the far north east, I don't think u will be this insensitive and ignorant in ur comment.... 2 Likes |

Firefire:Good questions. No They didn't have tanks and anti-aircraft weapons because Buhari dealt with them early and decisively before they could reach that level of sophistication. Boko Haram did not have tanks and anti-aircraft fire early on, it was the failure of Jonathan's government to deal with them that emboldened and enabled them grow into an organised army that is now difficult to defeat. 3 Likes |

They were never crshed rather they were supressed that is why we are still here. A report credited to boko hara once said that they would have been able to take over nigeria in the next 20 years if not that they were disturbed early. So u c the planning to fight did not just started now. If only everybody was as cooperative the way the north and south were against the group u just mensioned imagine wot would happen.
