APC will plunge Nigeria into civil, religious
war –Fayose
JANUARY 10, 2015 BY GBENRO ADEOYE

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose
Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has
described the All Progressives Congress as
capable of causing chaos in Nigeria with the
statements being made by its leadership.

Fayose, in a statement made available to
Saturday PUNCH on Friday, blamed the APC for
what he called a “campaign of hate.”

He described the APC presidential candidate, Maj.
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, as an “Islamist who is
out to return power to the northerners and
implement Islamic agenda.”

He said this could trigger crisis in the Niger-Delta
area of the country in the South-South, where
President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples
Democratic Party hails from. Buhari, on the other
hand, is from the North-Western part of the
country.

Jonathan, Buhari and 11 other candidates will vie
for the presidential seat at the polls in February,
2014.

He said, “The APC as a party is saying that it will
form parallel government if Buhari loses, implying
that the party has admitted defeat and is ready
to throw the country into chaos.

“The APC people are already telling Nigerians
what will happen after the election if President
Jonathan wins.

“This campaign of hate from the APC has now
triggered a kind of reasoning in the mindset of
other stakeholders, especially the Niger-Delta
people, who see the Goodluck Jonathan
presidency as their turn, with the reality that, if
Buhari wins, there will be crisis in the Niger-Delta,
the area that produces the resources with which
Nigeria is sustained.

“If the Niger-Delta region erupts in crisis and the
Igbos in the South-East return to the old antics
and decide to secede, what happens to the
North that can only contribute between three to
five per cent to the economy of Nigeria?

“Is it not a fact that Boko Haram is a Northern
insurgency that is linked to the Northern
elements, but now being used to blackmail
President Goodluck Jonathan? Will it surprise
anyone if the Niger-Delta people of the South-
South and the Igbos in the South-East call the
bluff of the North and secede?”

He said, “The reality is, if care is not taken, the
end of the election might be secession or
religious war, aside from the global economic
crisis, which is a cold war on its own.”

The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Alhaji
Lai Mohammed, in a telephone conversation with
one of our correspondents, said people should
stop comparing Buhari when he was a military
ruler to the Buhari that is vying to become
democratically elected the Nigerian President.

“You cannot compare who Buhari was when he
was a military ruler to a civilian who he is today,”
he said.

JOHN ADAM(1776) ON POLITICS OF FEAR

Fear is the foundation of most governments; but it is so sordid and brutal a passion, and renders men in whose breasts it predominates so stupid and miserable, that Americans(Nigerians) will not be likely to approve of any political institution which is founded on it.

Eats this.

In a few weeks, if a middle Eastern nation takes a policy that negatively affects Nigeria, people will come out to say we should blame them when our leaders arr freely going about playing with religion like they were deprived of toys as children.

Our leaders have decided to divide Nigeria according to ethnicity and religion and a lot of us are allowing it.

This is simply a case of Gen Buhari religious bigotry gone a step too far.

Call for imposition of Sharia all across the country, even in the mainly Christian south.

Gen Buhari categorically stated that;"I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria," Buhari said, "God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country," Buhari said.

"Buhari calls for Sharia in all states, was defended by supporters as simply a call for the full implementation of Sharia in areas where Muslims predominated.

Buhari Politics of Religion an affront to the sensibility of Christians

The comments are the second by Buhari that have courted controversy after he called earlier this year for Muslims to vote at the next presidential elections only for someone who would defend their faith. This was criticised by the press as a call for voting along religious lines

Buhari categorically said; "It is a legal responsibility which God has given us, within the context of one Nigeria, to continue to uphold the practice of Sharia wholeheartedly ... and to educate non-Muslims that they have nothing to fear," he said.

"What remains for Muslims in Nigeria is for them to redouble their efforts, educate Muslims on the need to promote the full implementation of Sharia law," he went on. - AFP

Buhari recourse to political pastors at the eleventh hour an act of political desperation or ridicule of the Christian faith

In December 17, 2014 APC announces Pastor Yemi Osinbajo as Gen. Buhari's running mate. A Pastor at Olive Tree House of Prayer for All Nations, Banana Island, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. APC not satisfied with this appointment then created a fake twitter @RCCGWorldwide account of RCCG to announce the endorsement of Pastor Yemi by the General Oversea of RCCG Pastor Adeboye.
This move prompted Pastor Adeboye through his verified Facebook page to disowned the Twitter handle and condemns yet another desperate scheme by the APC.

In the Facebook post, Pastor Adeboye said; “On behalf of The Governing Council of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, we would like to inform the public that RCCG is not affiliated nor represented by @rccgworldwide. The church’s official twitter page is @rccghq. The church cherishes the right of all citizens to participate in the democratic process to vote."

We have no doubts that the APC is a Party that attempts to use and parade Pastors as VP candidates to divide or mislead the innocent sheep and Nigerians with cherished Conservative or Liberal views and clear the known perception of Bigotry hanging over the head of its candidate and one time dictactor, General Buhari.

Other statements from the Church's AUTHENTIC twitter Handle Include:@rccghq: “RCCG is not affiliated nor represented by @rccgworldwide.
“The church’s official twitter page is @rccghq.”In no fewer than four other tweets, the church equally faulted the endorsement of Osinbajo by the creators of @rccgworldwide.One of the tweets by the Pastors reads: “RCCG has not celebrated anybody for any position in the forthcoming elections! The #OfficialRCCG handle is @rccghq. Do not be misled.” Another reads: “We are a mission and we do not meddle into politics #RCCG #OfficialRCCG @RCCGworldwide is wrong.”Another said: “#OfficialRCCG – @rccghq We do not denounce neither do we endorse candidacies for elections. We are not a political party.

APC Political Pastor Ejike Mbaka and the church drama

In gospel of Mark 12:17 Jesus Christ himself said; "Give back to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." and in John 2:16 Jesus Christ said "Get these things out of here. Stop turning my Father's house into a marketplace."

ELECTION VIOLENCE IS WRONG by Olawale Dibia Ajayi.
I have read lousy reports and claims by armchair reporters on the social media about the burning of PDP campaign bus(es) in Jos a few hours ago. Immediately, I picked my phone a put a call through to Bitrus Mshelia, an old friend who works for an independent tabloid in Jos. He confirmed that indeed there was a fracas today at the Bauchi Road junction. However, he said the rampage was an intra-partyPDP crisis involving rival PDP party members in Kanke town, Kanke council area of Plateau state, who were expressing theiranger over the imposition of the PDP governorship candidate, Senator Pwajok, on them in the state.Trouble started when the youths clashed with the supporters of the governorship candidate who had gone to welcome him backfrom the PDP rally in Lagos. The APC had no hand whatsoever in the clash. This is done so as to set the records straight and caution scattergun analysts to let the trigger be. It is rather too late to begin to whip up Bolekaja sentiments now!

What's the problem with this PDP guys?

They must mention religion, war, north/south, east/west, islam/christianity, christian/muslim.

APC is always saying let's come together, PDP is always saying we are not the same.

Can't PDP do their campaign without emphasising our difference?

Hope not.
Politicians should stop war mongering.
The elections itself may not cause any problem but all this instigations by politicians can cause unnecessary tension that produces results that no one will like to see. And should it happen, the politicians will all disappear.

Why should people be feeding ideas to others to cause trouble.
