Lol, we're in the babymama era - and women aren't loyal. grin

This is the soundtrack to the new consciousness of the planet.
The whingers / complainers in this video all look like irresponsible baby daddies.

Birds of the same feather attracting their own kind...

Lol, but you can't deny the fact that most chics/women these days just want to have fun and comfort, and the society today provides a space where marriage has become more of a burden. Hence co-habitation is so fashionable in the current clime.

The guys in the video are just having fun based on their riches and the fame. You can't hate on them for that cos that's what most women are attracted to. grin

But marriage isn't a do or die affair. Especially in the West where no one really cares.

Re: the bolded, I just can't stand them with their bling-bling, golden teeth, pulled-down-pants-to-the-kness, and barley coherent songs lacking any discernible message(s) or morals. I guess I'm soooo old school... sad

@ bold - that sums it up. However, aren't all these divorcees, with kids (single mums) also babymamas? - that's the reality and what the semantics behind babymama-syndrome is about.

It depends on which aspect of rap music you're into - rap is poetry. At least, it's far better whatever noise called music (afro-beat) coming out Nigeria. I honestly don't think there's any genre of music that relays supreme message and morals better than hip-hop, to be honest. It's more than music - it's a lifestyle and a religion. You just have to sift the commercialised/over-saturated ones, for the real gem cos just like everything with a gift, it has its own curse. grin

Also, you'd be shocked that chics actually love tunes like that one more than guys. They sing it word for word with pride. grin

Hmmm....

I guess it all boils down to one's tastes and personal preference. I'm not adverse to rap (or soft rock), but I just can't stomach the new breed of artists getting churned out these days.

The 90's for me was the golden era. A couple of good songs (in my opinion) filtered through in the early noughties... smiley

Yes, 90s and noughties were the era before everything became shiit-pop. grin

There are still loads of great artists out there, but they don't get radio-play anymore.

People are starting to realize that marriage is not a do or die affair.

When people learn not to involve anyone else in marriage then divorce rate will decrease
