Nope. Not possible. At least in Arkansas where I live. I know some states allow you to drive with Intl drivers license for a while before getting the state issued one but AR doesn't allow that.

I had to do the written test first, then a permit will be issued. A waiver can be issued so that you don't have to wait the mandatory 4-6 weeks after you get the permit before you take the toad test....That is if you have your Nigerian Drivers License with you. But you def still have to do the written and road test.

You shouldn't be fearful of the test though, it's not that hard. Lol. Mine barely lasted 15mins and most of it was in the inner streets not a major highway.

A friend of mine failed her test 4 times and the parallel parking 5 times lol.. That's enough to bring fear to someone hehe.. I'll work on getting it tho.. In the mean time I might get the Nigeria international drivers license. Thanks for your attention

Maryland, but was in TX for about 3 years..You can always familiarize yourself with traffic rules and other stuffs by riding with people for a while

Dicapino, that was where I wrote mine. But u should know that when u register for TOEFL, it's ETS that will give u ur test centre not u will request for ur test centre.

Well its likely they verify the international drivers license because i listened to an interview on AIT where one of the FRSC oga (Marshal) said something like that and they have cases where they were contacted outside Nigeria to verify some drivers license that was submitted there..

If you do the capturing when you applied for it, Am sure it is verifiable but if you dont i advice not to tender it over there..

I was referring to your Nigerian drivers license if you have it because for the new policy you capture first before renewing or getting new one and its your details on their database here in Nigeria that they will surely issue international driving license from you

Depending on your state, you don't need an SSN to get a State ID. You'd need your I-20(Signed), I-94, Nigerian Passport, School ID and cash for the State ID. Your photo will be taken at the DMV.

No it doesn't matter, as long as your full correct name is same as on your transcript, then it's no problem
